It is NOT free to play, to get anything done in Destiny 2 you need to buy up every 3 month or one year worth of mostly mid tier content.
if you ever need the definition of FOMO (fear of missing out), just play Destiny right at the end of a season.
Gameloop is more playing Destiny on and of, then the actual gameplay, bc playing and not playing is a lot more diverse than the game. You just play the same ♥♥♥♥ over and over again and max 50h of the gameplay and u get pretty board.

One positiv is the gunplay is toptier, but that doesn´t justify the amount of stress Destiny puts you in.

I really loved Destiny 1, played like 1k hours on Xbox, then Destiny 2 released and was ♥♥♥♥ for most people, i loved it, Forsaken came and i thought this would be the best game to ever exist, but with the 3rd year of D2 and shadowkeep it went to ♥♥♥♥, and i played every few months and FOMO killed me. If you tend to get pressured by FOMO, you should keep a great distance to Destiny 2!

The characters are really great and lovely,
I really regret that I spoiled myself, it's a really good game and I wish I could delete my memories of this game to play it again without any knowledge, if u played it u will know what I mean, but really love this game. Play it! It's free! U won't regret (except that u might get depression)!
