For newcomers: this is essentially a co-op zombie killing game with diverse enemies and weapon choices. The gunplay is the smoothest and most satisfying that you will find in any game, period. The gore is visually striking, and the sound design is superb. As you play, you will "level up" your perks and choose skills that add variety to the gameplay and leave you with a sense of progression every time you log off. Killing Floor 2 is addicting, especially given the pool of online players and maps (both custom and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥). The only caveat I can provide is that the Killing Floor community has a lot of toxic and whiny people in it. Stay off the forums and you will be mostly fine. There are plenty of friendly players in the game who will help you learn the mechanics.
