Total War: WARHAMMER - Realm of The Wood Elves:

This DLC comes with the new Faction: Woodland Elves. 2 of which you can choose from either in the Grand Campaign or The Story Campaign.

To keep things short, I enjoy this DLC far after getting about 50+ turns in the Story Campaign.

The Wood Elves are a new formula for playing as a differnt faction. They combine speed with some power-hitting units. However, army rosters need to compose of things that can support each other on the battlefield.

On the campaign map, the Elves require a precious resource called Amber and it can be either really easy or really difficult to aquire. It also allows the player to make the choice of recruiting high-tier elven units which can consume 1 Amber until they are disbanded or destroyed. Alternatively, you can use the Amber to further research or upgrade certain parts of main settlements.

The units in this DLC are very fun to play with and are extremely different compared to the other factions and I am happy with switching up the flow of the game from Dwarves, to Undead, to others and finally to Elves.

Overall the new gameplay, maps, and units make this a great DLC and can't wait to see what else CA has in store for this amazing game.

Sins of a Solar Empire has consumed many hours of my time, all of it worth it. Before I started playing some of the many mods available, the vanilla version was very simple to get involved in and the learning curve wasn't to harsh. I eventually found Sins to be addicting and devoted many hours to playing.

I eventually moved onto mods. Specifically: Sins of a Galactic Empire; one of several Star Wars mods available, but the one I found suited to my kind of "fun."

Some Features:

- Large Matches, up to 8 players, either with friends, other players, or AI (with varying types of AI difficulty sets)

- Different victory conditions for those who like to switch it up or like to change up how to win their game

- 3 vanilla factions to choose from, 2 sub-culture for each faction for different types of playthroughs

- Active mod community with varying amounts of mods that range from Halo to Star Wars to Star Trek

While this may be a dated game, a new DLC was recently released which was a nice surprise to find. So if you ever tire yourself of vanilla, you can certainly utilize the new DLC

You will lose some games and you will spend hours upon hours in some, it all depends on the challenge you set yourself up for.

I would recommend this game to any of my friends and certainly have already and play often when I have time. It's a great game with little flaws, but overall, it's a great game and it does what all games should do: provide fun.

Rome II provides every Total War player a new book in a series with this release. All new features, units, gameplay options, UI, and etc, provide Rome II not only with amazing feats never before seen, but seemlingly noticeable bugs/AI problems. CA should/hopefully correct the issues that have been experience post-launch week and I will continue to play Rome II as my new Total War game.
