Where to start with this game?

I played Fire Emblem, Xeno Gears, some of the Final Fantasys and other JRPGs and yet I loved this game with a passion just as much.

The combat is easy to understand, balanced, challaging and non repetitive.
It's uses the Fire Emblem way of moving and attacking by moving square by square such as a checkers board.
Along with turn order for each person or monster such as Final Fantasy X.
Monster runs into you or into it you battle.
No random battles fought.
You got arts for magic attacks, defence and stat increases then Crafts for support attacks and special attack called Craft-S

Wonderful town and lively town folk who have different things to say each time you progress in the story.
So, no one line repeated over and over.
You learn so much just by talking to them to gather info on the history, other people, rumors, love interests and more!
To sum it up it feels as if I'm talking to a real human since the topic changes pretty often and they have more than one thing to add the conversation.
The characters are likeable as well although I haven't met all them yet.

Another thing I loved about this game is the Bracer notebook which does a great job of keeping track of quest details, monster's stats/weakness and a guide to refresh you in case you forgot and skip it.

There alot of reading involved in this game dear I say more than Harry Potter but that just the way I like JRPGs and RPGs.

Buy this if you are willing to invest in a well thought story and has combat that doesn't became dull after hours on end.

Plus This game was made by the same people behide Ys and Johnny Yong Bosch voices Joshua!
