While it is a bit rough around the edges on day one, I've only been playing for less than two hours and have already enjoyed jumping into random matchmaking. If you're expecting a fully completed, fleshed out game right now, then wait. But if you're like me, someone who has been looking forward to this game for many years, and want to support the team, then go for it. The fundamentals of the game that are currently in it are comparative to none other. I hope the developers continue to build on this innovative framework to provide a product that is entertaining, educational, and challenging (which it certainly is).

Brings me back to the good old days of the North and South mod in Mount and Blade: Warband. I really enjoy playing it. Sure, it has its quirks right now, but with this development team and the community that's backing it, I'm confident it will be one for the ages. Every historical gaming fan should have this in their library!
