The tasty burrito was worth it 👍

1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips


Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, which should take about 2 minutes with an electric mixer.

Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; you want the dough to come together without overworking it.

Gently fold in the chocolate chips using a spatula or wooden spoon.

Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden but the centers are still soft. The exact baking time may vary based on your oven, so keep a close eye on the cookies.

Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

To preface, I haven't played COD since the release of WWII back in 2017 on Xbox. From what I've heard, this game's movement mechanics aren't as easily exploitable as in MW 2019 which makes gameplay far more bearable.

With this said, I've thoroughly enjoyed grinding through the camo challenges and playing the campaign on veteran despite the frequent crashing. Considering the high price tag, I would still recommend the pickup for anyone on the fence or someone looking for a title to get them back into the franchise.

The robots can sing and play music

Brings back the nostalgia from my first experiences with halo. Multiplayer is decent but a little bland. Looking forward to the campaign release see what that is all about.

Story Mode Playthrough Time (any%) ≈ 20 Hours

This game was insanely fun and the cut scenes immensely add to the story development. The addition of multiple grapple perks/attributes made gameplay even more dynamic and interesting. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who is a fan of the Just Cause Franchise or of solo story campaigns like this one.

Career Playthrough (any%): ~12 Hours

This game is a ton of fun for people who are into any sort of racing games. Reminds me of the old Forza Motorsport career mode with class types. The game engine is pretty realistic and the demolition mode is always a ton of fun. Gotta say... its super satisfying when you get those big -30 or more hits. The progression is very straight forward. I'd recommend try to get as far as possible with the free cars and reward cars. You get free parts for placing top 3 in every race and those can save you a good chuck of cash. Every non-special vehicle can be upgraded to A class so there is no real need to buy many cars from the market, The only need I found was when a race only allowed a specific car/region.

TLDR; I bought this during the 2020 Steam Black Friday sales for around 50% off. This said, the game is still well worth the regular price.

Great game to play with friends. New maps and increased difficulty will unlock with time. If you're not a big fan of jump scares like I am, Phasmophobia might be a good start for you. It has minor jump scares when the ghost whispers in your ear and sometimes with sudden appearances but once you play a couple rounds, you'll end up speedrunning the objectives like its nothing.

If you end up picking up the game, definitely check out the forums for the meta strategies.

NOTE: If you plan on playing in VR, the movement can get pretty nauseating.
