I've logged around 60 hours on my PS5 due to my low-end PC not being able to run the game. From my experience, I haven't encountered any pay-to-win features. The game only offers options to speed up progression. If people want to label this as pay-to-win, they should also apply that to Warframe and Destiny 2. Besides, Destiny 2 is free-to-try, not truly free-to-play, so any criticism from that camp doesn't hold much weight.

As a Warframe player, I'm accustomed to the grind. This game feels easier than Warframe, but like all looter shooters, it involves a long and sometimes tedious grind.

Overall, this game appears to be genuinely free-to-play, unlike Destiny 2. The only things you can't earn in-game are cosmetics and EXP/gold boosters.


The game has some technical issues. For example, one of my friends with a high-end PC still experiences unstable performance, including a bug where his character keeps walking even after he releases the W key. On my PS5, I’ve encountered bugs such as ray tracing not working—though it did function at launch, it caused the game to crash after about five minutes. Additionally, there are visual bugs that seem to be related to the lighting engine, such as flickering or disappearing shadows. Fortunately, I haven’t noticed any game-breaking glitches. I did get stuck in the ground once, but I was able to easily escape using the grappling hook.

Overall, I’d say the game is worth trying if you enjoy titles like Warframe, Destiny, or MMORPGs with extensive grinds such as Black Desert Online. Currently, I'm at MR16 and nearing MR17, and I still feel like there’s plenty left to explore and accomplish. Therefore, my review may evolve as I progress further.
