Enjoyable strategy game, has some flaws, but very few and most of them are acceptable. My advice, buy this game during a sale if you think you'll like it.

What does the Emperor Bid?

Fun game but it can get very infuriating

Honestly the time I played the game I enjoyed it, it's a fun game and combat is pretty refreshing at first. The world itself is beautiful and traversing it just feels right at the start. This also counts for the seas and traversing them with your boat.

However, at some point thing's will get stale real quick. The combat is just basically hit this guy 50 times and use 3 skill moves to take him down and do this for those other 10 guys as well, yeah it looks cool and at first it's fun but eventually you'll just get tired of those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ damage sponges.

As I said traversing the world feel right, at the start, though at some point you'll just get annoyed that you have another quest half a world away which you have to travel to again because you have no fast travel points nearby. The map is just too big and eventually you'll just get bored of the repetiteveness off it all, the combat, the quests, the locations, it just starts to feel the same after a while. I did not have this with a game like the witcher, which changed things enough to keep me interested, that was not the case for this game. I haven't even finished the game because I just don't feel like getting into this game again.

The story is awful I'd say, at least if I remember this correct, can barely remember the main characters names, it's pretty forgetable.

All in all, I'd say I have no regrets buying this game, it kept me engaged long enough, but it could've been so much better. I hope the next AC is going to be more like the original games and not like this one. Yeah I know Walhalla has been announced already but I can still hope.

What are you doing here just play just cause 3, unless you got this one for under 20 euro's then go ahead.

Great adittion to the Total War franchise, I love the setting and the new addition of retinues, they really add some depth. I like the new way provinces work, they’re now called commandries and each commandry has 1 city and then some farmland for example or a transport or lumberyard. This makes them less of a nuisance to manage and so you don’t need to go around your provinces checking all city’s to see wether you can build something. The AI is not garbage, in my playthrough with Lu Bei, I started stagnating a bit and when I looked on the map I saw other factions with twice my territory and still increasing , in battle the AI is good too, no clue how they’re on legendary. All in all good game, 8/10.

Far cry new Dawn is a good game, but not a great game by any means. The gunplay is good an fun and about halfway through the game another layer is added to that gunplay which I really liked. The story is okay, it's not terrible but it's not far cry 3 levels of story or villains either. The map is beautiful, but not that big or filled with activities, the outposts and expiditions are fun, outposts are just classic far cry, the doomstay stashes make a return, but there are less of them, I thought they were fun though. All in all I think it's a good game and I'd recommend buying it in sale. I bought it during sale and I think I got my money's worth but I doubt I would have gotten that at 45 euros.

Fun game to play with friends or when you join a random lobby, very friendly community. The weird controls make the game even better at times because you just don't know what you're doing.

Great Game very good, Shadow of War is even better, but if you want to play that you' d have to play this one first.
