Early Access Review
I'm not going to say the game isn't fun, because it IS fun, but it has it's issues. I can't wait to see what the devs do with it in Early Access and to return back to it at a later date. The biggest problem I have, by far, is the AI. I had so many times where the friendly AI would be stuck handcuffing someone who was already cuffed, or not open a door, or where the enemy AI would 1 shot headshot me through a wall or door. I can't wait to see what they do in the future, but for me I personally would recommend going and buying SWAT 4 until the game has a bit more dev time.

Pretty fun game! Does get a bit boring after some time, but worth the price on sale for sure

Early Access Review
This game is great!

The graphics are very good, the communication structure is well done, and the combat is enjoyable. There's more than just this, but its all just good.

The only thing that needs some work is the sound design, but that's in their roadmap.

Edit - 11/30/19: This game has only since improved. The developers have continued to follow their roadmap, and their hard work is showing. Still highly recommend for an immersive WWII experience!

I've enjoyed this game immensely since I purchaes it. I enjoyed Insurgency (2014) just as much. There are some problems I want to address, but they are not big ones.

First, the netcode could use improvement. Especially in such a tactical shooter. It is quite upsetting to be killed by someone looking the other way, and then after they start firing they face you. This has happened a few times and its especially upsetting in competitive mode. I believe also included in netcode problems would be when you suddenly jump forward in game to competnsate what you (presumeably) lost in connection. This is very annoying. On a good day I have a ping of less than 30. But even when playing on a low ping it feels almost as if you are on a 200 at times.

My second problem is the time it takes to load assets. Now, I have this game installed onto a Samsung 860 EVO SSD, and I have an i5 4690k, and a GTX 1070, and 16GB of ram. I see no reason at all why, after being in game for a minute or more sometimes i'll be running around still with my gun missing parts, or in its entirety, and the same goes for my own player model as well as others'. This isn't a big problem, generally speaking it will resolve itself before I have to make contact with any enemys.

I also dislike how there are two ways the game detects your bullets. WarOwl has a great video on this topic, the fact that as a sniper you don't know if there will or will not be bullet drop is very annoying.

Now let's talk about why this game is great:

First of all, the game is incredibly realistic with a very low time to kill (TTK) and a very accurate recoil system and weapon firing system.
I especially love the fact that there is no progression for weapons. I believe that it was the right choice of the developers to allow you to use everything at launch, as long as you have the points, and don't mind weighing a bit more than others.
The game overall feels great, and on the new engine it is even better.
I do recommend this game, as long as you can deal with those few problems it is fun and well worth the money.
