Definitely a great game, no doubt. Yet comparing it to Saints Row 2, this game seems like a little bit of a downgrade. The vast amount of Saints Row 2 (side-quest/activity) content that made the game more fun and immersive, did not make it here, which is a pity. Some activities (side-quests) which were fun to play in the previous game, are cut short, making the game fall out on diversity. Don't get me wrong, there are a tons of things to do in this game, specifically at start, yet by the mid-late game, most of the side-quests that unlock (when beginning a new story chapter) are repetitive (tank missions, mayhem, snatch and etc.)

Overall, the game feels like it lost its "seriousy" gangster vibe, giving more into jokes and non-serious interactions, which are still enjoyable to follow, yet do not correspond to its "character" (in contrast to SR2, where the jokes and humor was more balanced). Also, some aspects of the game (these are personal preferences, not particularly a downside or a weak point), like having to purchase character upgrades, makes the game less fun (and challenging in the beginning, due to the upgrade costs and the players earnings). I feel like SR2 had a better approach, where the game rewarded players with perks and boosts (extended magazines, infinite ammo, new weapons and etc.) through the completion of side-quests, making the game play more enjoyable and motivating to play. Additionally, I was particularly sad to see that the Irish (or Scottish, please forgive me) accent was not included in the character's voice selection XD (I reeeeally enjoyed that voice, as it made the interactions like ten times more vibrant).

In conclusion, Saints Row 3, is still a great game, featuring lots of strong game play mechanics. Being able to run the game smoothly (unlike SR2's broken port) is a huge relief. I would consider this game to be the last game in the series that has enjoyable game play, interesting story line and overall a good quality product.

One of the best simulator(ish) game I've played. The game balances between simulator-style gameplay and arcade mechanics, where the game becomes immersive and fun to play. Having played this game for over a year, the improvements made are visible, with improved textures, animations and gameplay. I love the fact, that the game includes vehicles (not only tanks and planes, but stationary guns and artillery) and the ability to turn in-between roles, making it more fun to play.

The abundance of bots in game, make the battles alive and immersive, although they sometimes feels a little "clunky", due to always sticking to their fireteam. Still, the AI makes the battles pretty realistic, especially on the highest difficulty and with max amount of troops. Regarding the difficulty, I always played on "Realistic" (the highest difficulty), and the game does not seem as difficult to be honest, the bots feels balanced, and do not have "God aim". I was particularly surprised that the bots do not have the ability to throw grenades as often (I think they do, but very rarely), where the games mostly contain shooting (where vehicles are unavailable). Also, the HE shells seem kind of weak, as when shooting into a group of soldiers (gathered close to each other) the damage is not as expected (for example, when shooting from an 88 mm cannon the soldiers barely move, killing only 2-3 out of 8 people). I would assume the HE shells should do more damage to infantry, so its more deadly, as HE shells explosions only (seem to) affect a small area, where soldiers standing a few feet away, are undamaged.

But in general the gameplay is great, the weapons feel smooth, alongside its animations. The variety of factions (countries), and their unique and historical vehicles are also impressive (some unlock with DLCs), so I definitely recommend the game, as it will develop to be a great game with a lot of improvements and fixes.

Old but gold...although not as old yet. The game is truly a classic, as it has great strategy mechanics. The ability to fully customise your gameplay, makes every playthrough truly unique. Playing this game alone, is a great experience, especially the availability of countless mods makes the game wonderful.

The co-op mechanics are awesome, as the playthroughs become more intense and interesting, where players divide the areas of influence on the map. Sending reinforcements, collaborating on technology, culture and trade, truly make the game stand out, and fulfill the desires of strategy fans.

On the downside, it is frustrating that the game that bases on technologies and ages, does not include the option to restrict the gameplay to a certain age (era), not considering the mods. This becomes a little annoying specifically in multiplayer, as the games do not support mods (at least, I was unable to set up modded servers). However, these are more personal preferences, which can be easily attuned.

A great FPS shooter game, definitely recommend for playing! In a few words, this game is Call of Duty, but free, as it includes the (most of) modern shooter gameplay mechanics. The game includes detailed weapon customization system, allowing for a very personalized gameplay. A huge advantage is that the game includes a perfect optimization, allowing the game to be played on 60+ fps on (unplugged to charger) low-end laptops, which is a crucial strong suit of the game.

As, said the game includes a lot guns, which are highly customisable, accompanied with pleasant gunplay and animations. Also it is not pay-to-win (at least from what I saw), having played the for over 20 hours and almost reaching the max level (with (mostly) a single gun (MP5)), the game offers a fair gameplay. In-game purchases are cosmetic, as they provide skins, weapon schematics (as in Warzone) and etc, which do not really impact the "grind" (just providing weapons with specific attachements, making the gameplay "more comfortable"). The in-game currency is easily attained, allowing to buy most of the store cosmetics. Another crucial detail, is that besides PvP, it is possible to create custom lobbies, with bots, in which daily challenges, and weapon progression could be achieved (honestly, a big bonus, as sometimes you can start a game with bots and just relax, by gaining EXP for the guns, battlepass and your level).

The only (personal) downside, which is more of a tiny detail, are the head hitboxes, which feel very small. Most of the time, while aiming for the head, the game registers the kill as a body shot, therefore getting headshots are sometimes actually challenging. On the other side, the game is a fast-paced shooter, therefore, there is not much of a shootout going among the players, as there is constant action. Overall, the game is a great pleasure to play, especially being a free to play shooter!

An astonishing continuation of Episode 1! FINALLY, there is a separate energy bar for the flashlight, that doesn't use up the sprint. The story is just perfect with tons of action and sense of danger (SPOILER: based on characters' fate). The game is so great that it is played in (almost) one go, didn't even notice how fast the chapters went by. The only downside of this game is its (SPOILER) cliffhanger ending, which apart from leaving out in a crucial scenario was topped by an emotional burden (not gonna lie, got very accustomed to the characters).

(EVEN MORE SPOILERS) I really hoped that the game would give another chapter to play (perhaps the "Borealis" ship mission), even had hopes for after credit scenes, but still nothing. Well, guess were waiting for Half-Life 3...

A great continuation to the story line of Half-Life 2. Although quite short the game presents a great (re)introduction of characters, events and the setting. Overall really recommend it!

This game...is truly a masterpiece. My first (2D) souls-like game, and ohhhhh boy, I am glad I began with Blasphemous. Once you get the hang of it, the gameplay brings joy (especially after learning the attack patterns of bosses XD). The story is perfect with nice short cutscenes and a great soundtrack! I honestly enjoyed the game so much that, completed it on 100% twice.

I would say the only small downside for me would be the fact that you have to start the "New Game +" (new game, on higher difficulty) if you want to reach the DLC content (SPOILER), just to fight 5 new (easy) bosses. Nevertheless, the game manages to deliver a great content, including upgrades (really eases the gameplay), multiple endings and character skins (was a big shock for me, but they truly add a nice touch, so a big "W"). Overall, really recommend the game, as it bring a vast variety of emotions, most being positive that is!

Just finished the game, and ooooh boy its so worth playing. Having previously played Saints Row III and IV, I can definitely say that this game has got the best content. A huge variety of activities rewarding with free unlocks for the effort (not buying, like in later games). The story line, characters, THE HUMOR and the "serious" atmosphere are all well-integrated, as the game balances everything perfectly (later games seem a little too childish, whereas SR2 keeps the "gangster" vibe).

Now...the greatest challenge...the game's performance DOES NOT EXIST! Having installed several performance boosting mods (notably Gentlemen of the Row and few other), the game is still unstable (at least for me). I ended up leaving only Gentlemen of the Row, as with higher fps, the game just crashes more frequently. Even, installed an app that sets the screen into borderless mode (as the game does not originally have such an option), which was supposedly "helpful", but I didn't feel any difference. However, even if you embrace the casual 20-40 fps gameplay, after approximately 60-75 minutes of gameplay, the frames drop significantly (down to 2-3 fps), so relaunching would be recommended. Still, if you adapt to such gameplay, the game is very recommended to try out!
