It would be nice if this game felt more like a sequel.
Despite all of the advertising suggesting this is all new, it has less content and features than base Payday 2.
All of this culminates in a delightful ♥♥♥♥ storm which I get to watch from the car window.
Watching it because the game doesn't even let me experience its dullness.

A really good game. Enjoyed it for the first 7 hours. Until it started crashing on startup repeatedly and the only fix that worked was to delete the preferences including saved data. 7 hours in, that's really annoying. I may have had few unlocks, sure. But starting over as if I'd never played with un-skippable tutorials is tedious. Sadly, it's really put me off the game despite it being really good.

For those who enjoy exploration games, this is a must have. Stylish as ♥♥♥♥, great storytelling and loveable characters to boot. It used to be considered an underrated game but following its remasters, it's been recognised for what it is.

But this is like 30 hours long. You'll get your money's worth but maybe don't play this if you have little free time.

The game is a modern arena shooter. It's very focused on movement and accuracy but melee is viable too (if you git gud). And while I would recommend this game, there are some things holding it back from greatness.
There are many hackers occupying the game, while this number is steadily declining, it is not zero. There is a big focus on cosmetics and ingame currency. While this can be ignored, it can be distracting. Lastly, if you're skilled at aiming before you pick up the game and do well in the early levels, people will accuse you of hacking and may kick you.

On the upside, there are many community-made maps and game modes. The general community is polite and friendly, inspiring those around them to improve. The skill ceiling is as high as you can imagine with most classes. I love this game but I'd give it a 7/10.
