yes i know it's a "gooner game" but even so theres a level of quality testing that should of been done before the game went public....like i love when the game crashes right as soon as you open it with the following message of "vrhand_win64_shipping" and this has been an issue for majority of the time if not since it was released and instead of the dev actually fixing it they just tell you to disable "X" setting and to change from "X" mode to "Z" mode with SteamVR, funny enough i wasn't able to find out how exactly to do this instead i just had to change which ver of SteamVR to run until it worked and i got it to work...

-things the dev needs to fix in this game still to this day-

-game crashing immediately after launching the game (simply telling people "how" to fix this does not fix it).

-aliment and tracking of the hands on controllers (its so poor its unplayable).

-gesture tracking with controller (using the index and having the fingers spaz out when gesturing).

- locomotion "point and release/click" normally this isn't an issue, in this game it is trying to find the "sweet spot" when pushing up on the joystick was annoying.

- the pop up menu...dear god dealing with this was so painful the collision detection for every option was terrible....like it would of been better off making the player navigate with the joystick and a/b buttons over this "point and touch" method...which 75% of the time didn't work.

given all this i think the dev should of released this as a desktop game first with a vr "dlc" later down the road....not vr first then desktop...i can only assume they have abandon this version of the game given their last update, responses in the discussions section and the fact they have announced a desktop ver just recently...i understand game development isn't easy but posting janky content is and this very much so falls under this...if anything i hope the dev sees this review and finds the drive to fix these problems

better then genshin in almost every way been playing since launch and can now keep playing on steam

they basically turned the game into a glorified watered down dating sim where each npc iteration only lasting 1 option choice at a time...$90...for this....i get we can wait for the "hf_patch" but that's always seems to be 3rd party and overall shouldn't be a thing in the first place...as of right now i can't say i'd recommend this and that's a bummer

the bad:
i can understand the negative reviews and feelings with this game.
i don't understand why companies NEED to have a game launcher to run the game in the first place i also don't understand why you need a kernel level anti cheat....putting that crap aside i understand this is just a demo but like can we stop putting in mandatory tutorials in games i understand some players need their hand held and that 100% fine but some players don't need it or want it so i do hope when the game comes out that we do have the option to skip the tutorial bs...

the good:
it's fun, and the combat feels good for what i've played the graphics look amazing and the controls are good (need a little tweaking) if you disregard the "the bad" part this game is honestly great i, like many others just have an opinion on what needs to be changed to make it better

game crashed 15 minutes into "gameplay" as soon as it crashed both monitors lost video...had to use task manager to close game found an additional program running with same icon just with a different name, very odd...game needs a lot of work done on it before its for lack of a better word stable that being said even on sale i can recommend the game for now

the game is fun and i don't have a negative thing to say about the game play...however the devs are shutting steam services down jan 2025 which will delete all user data without the chance to migrate account data over to mobile why? who knows also they are not giving a reason as to why they are shutting steam servers down (they don't have to but it looks bad) so although i would recommend the game i can't now, to the devs, this is a ♥♥♥♥ move...

Space ninjas....what more do you need?

not gonna lie i was going to ♥♥♥♥ on destiny in this review but i dont think they need my help to know how ♥♥♥♥ of a job they are doing atm....anyways warframe is fun simple as that you can fish, kill things, fly around, pilot a "robot" (necromech) and of ya pilot a big space ship while also having a clan with its own space to hang out when your not being a bad ass space ninja, the controls are nice the combat is great and when they "nerf" things it feels like its only slight tweaks while still allowing you to feel op not only that but some of the builds people come up with are crazy to the point of "game breaking op" and from what ive seen over the year the devs are all for it but the best part about warframe isnt the actual game its the loving community behind it only matched by a company who not only cares about their game but also their community...also they actually listen to feedback which is a massive plus...all in all if your tired of games like destiny "vaulting" content or items being disabled due to a "unforeseen bug" or straight up nerfed into oblivion because "too many people are using it and not other weapons" then give warframe a try...end rant......SPACE NINJAS!

18 minutes into the game and i just can't deal with it anymore i don't know if im missing something but it doesn't look like you can re-map the controls or change the control icons from controller (xbox) to mouse & keyboard ones and im not sure why since you can use M&K just fine. other then that it plays like a classic "mech assault" game which is cool, hopefully theres a QoL patch or something to fix these minor issues

roughly 91min on record and i don't really feel like having to worry about replacing my gpu sooner then i need to, while nothings crashed yet im not really a fan of my gpu going from 2% load to 99% load when in game hopefully this gets fixed but til then i just cant, as for the actual gameplay 3.5/5 mainly its just the controls take time getting use to and feel over sensitive/ floaty but also not at the same time its hard to explain other then that your a squirrel with a gun what more do you want?
