This update is awesome! Slapping remixes made by the one and only Andrew Hulshult, ONLINE CROSSPLAY MULTIPLAYER making it SO much easier to play online compared to Chocolate DOOM or Zandronium, plus it has it's own new features to spice things up (or to kinda turn back to how it used to be, although I do miss Friendly Fire more then I thought I would), New Unused Content, A WHOLE EPISODE WITH NEW MONSTERS AND WEAPONS!
Plus new achievements, so get hunting!

However I do have a big gripe with it, that being the Kex Engine boosts the system requirements needed to play it, to the point my crappy laptop can't even open the automap without it crashing from a lack of memory, which makes it a pain to try to find secrets with the computer area map, or find your buddy on co-op multiplayer, and the fact that mods are locked behind a Bethesda account, which is annoying to play mods with your friends, and locks console players or people who don't know how to use source ports out of the modding community.

I would say this new port does more good then it does harm, and it did it a lot quicker then the Unity Port ever did.

Of course the one SEGA was partially involved with sucks the most out of all the campaigns.

With that being said it's still a decent and short campaign worth playing just for the sakes of completing Half-Life, although if you're on a tight budget, it's recommended to buy Opposing Force instead.

If you do decide to play this game, just keep your expectations low, this campaign really doesn't add anything mind-blowing, it's just -- more Half-Life.

This game is still pretty fun even with later games, definitely recommend if you have a low-end PC or laptop as this game is optimized for really old computers and even runs 30> FPS on my glorified pdf reader.

Pretty good game, the story is nice and simple and the graphics are amazing, I can tell a lot of time was poured into drawing each area and character in the game. I don't want to really talk much about what happens in the game, as I don't really want to spoil what happens. The game might not be very difficult besides the "Think" sections but that is a welcoming challenge and if it proves too difficult you can manually change the settings to lower the difficulty. I'd recommend it, you get a good bang for your buck even if it's free.

I couldn't get this game to run on my computer (yes that's a me problem) I got it to boot and immediately turned the graphics from "Epic" to "Low" and as soon as I tried to host a server for my friend to play, Unreal Engine crashed. So I reset the game and before the main menu popped up, the game crashed again, I tried 2 more times but Unreal kept crashing over and over again. I'm sure this would have been fun game to play with my friends and brother but unfortunately, I can't say because I couldn't get it to load. (P.S I'm not trying to be mean, nor am I saying this is the developers fault, I just wanted to share my experience with the game)
