SPOILERS FOR THE LATEST STORY QUESTS

Started playing in 2014, dropped because I had no clue what to do.
Returned back in 2019 with a friend who's been playing for all these years.
Anticipated badass story but was fixing mommy's family problems (and also some british cubes)
Dropped in June 2022 because "live-service-game" became "Game-as-a-Job"
Returned exactly year after because that exact friend begged me to play "Duviri Paradox" with him

SO

After grinding for nearly a week for Voidrig (a MECH that's required to progress in the story) (Yes. This is very dumb.)

I just completed "The New War"

And HO.LY. CRAP.

Right before starting it I accidentally changed my young boy character's voice to female. I regretted it at first, especially because first few moment when he "spoke" he actually simply grunted, which felt weird, because girl's voice and all that.
BUT
When he actually had to speak in cutscenes, it sounded amazing! Because as you know, a lot of kids in media are voiced by women.

Anyways

After some time you get to create an older version of yourself, and I created a completely different character. With new voice, hair, cosmetics and all that.

And BOY OH BOY... At some moment these two characters meet each other in a very comfy and long cutscene. Which is supposed to feel like a time paradox or whatever, because you meet an adult yourself, but IT FELT SO AMAZING, because instead of how it's supposed to be (you meet older you), I actually saw a little movie of two completely different characters that I'm already emotionally attached to talking to each other like they knew each other for many years.

Long story short - I want an entire game where your own characters interact+talk with each other in some sick cutscenes (not Sims and not Operation Lovecraft)

Also...
This is the first time in AAA gaming that I've ever seen a child getting killed multiple times.
Remember all these "LMAO BASED SKYRIM MOD" memes? Yeah, but now that's actually in a game. And not some small indie "haha child dies" joke-game, but an actually high-budget (relatively)-story-driven game.

Divorce leads children to the worst places.
