Gentle platformer with breathtakingly gorgeous art where any screen of the game could be considered an art piece. I wholeheartedly recommend this game to any casual gamer even without any previous platforming experience.

Well... I guess it serves well as a nukige (even though there are only CGs). Actually steam community might not be really right audience for this title. Don't really think about going for this for the gameplay, comedy or story...

Muv-Luv (Extra, Unlimited) is a great intro into this awesome world of Muv-Luv. It's a story that really has everything an huge epic story needs. If you like visual novels, there is no way you can miss on this. Like really... I even kinda dislike mecha and sci-fi in general, but Muv-Luv really is exceptional.

Oh yeah, over internet there are tons of people telling you that it's okay to skip Extra or even Unlimited, but I so do not agree. Yes, you'll understand everything either way, but I believe you'll feel MC's emotions much better if you went through Extra first.

EDIT: Also as some other reviews said, be wary of spoilers! You'll enjoy plot twists and everything that way much more.

The gameplay isn't bad, but it's quite linear and not really challenging. The plot is okayish, has likeable and unlikeable characters and bad guys are kinda cheezy. I believe that at some points you can actually tell that the story has been forcefully bended a little to make it all-ages. The partial blood / skimpy clothes censorship doesn't help either. And yet, despite all that... it's quite enjoyable if you are into this kind of thing. If you know japanese though, I would recommend going for different version.

Great and really well written story, characters, dialogues... I don't know, it's just great, buy it. It's shame that only all ages version is officially released, but do not worry, literally only H-scenes were removed, everything else seemed intact.

Great art style and voice acting, nice soundtrack, enjoyable writing / translation, pretty interesting setting but the "plot" was of average moege. Huge shame it's just a short novel, because with that backstory they could've made pretty great long VN. Also plus points for bilingual (is that even the right word?) mode and H-patch. It's worth the money for sure.

Novel itself seems pretty good, characters are likeable, although the plot is kinda simple, it's still interesting, BUT... the translation quality made me drop it. How am I supposed to trust this translation when I can see major mistranslations (ones that would prolly google translate make) in pretty much simple lines? Some of the translated lines didn't even fit the situation at all, but quality checkers obviously didn't give a damn.
But well, it's not like whole traslation is trash.

Interesting gameplay, amazing graphic style and even better feel and soundtrack.
