The story of this game is nothing short of amazing. It's done so incredibly well with some parts being told to you as if you were apart of the cast (that's the best way I could describe it). The graphics themselves are also very well stylized and suit the game very well. My only complaint with the looks is that there were some parts where the emotion of the dialogue didn't match what the face was conveying given that the faces don't move at all. Another point to mention is the audio design was perfect. All of this combined lead to a game and story that kept me adequately uncomfortable and unnerved throughout almost the whole thing.

If steam had deeper ratings than yes/no, I'd give this game an 8.5/10. This is a must play if you really enjoy horror stories and games.

Absolutely fantastic game from start to finish. And you get Sonic Generations as a cool side bonus!

I didn't realize this when I played this back in 2016 but this game genuinely changed my life. Do yourself a favor and buy it. You won't be disappointed.

Also, whenever you're done with this game, I recommend you play Undertale Yellow after and install the Undertale Red and Yellow mod for regular undertale. The mod isn't needed to fully enjoy this game, it's just for if you want a little more.

I think the concept of this game is fantastic and once future chapters are out (yes, it is episodic) this story can go somewhere amazing. Spoiler free review, btw.

The good:
This game has a fantastic visual style and in some cases, I could even call the scenery an art piece. I am a big fan of the 2.5 graphical style, it's kind of like paper mario if you're into that. The characters are all fantastic, well written, and memorable. Even the ones that don't get a lot of screen time. The gameplay itself isn't much but what is there is honestly pretty solid. The controls are simple enough to understand. (Bonus points for actually having playstation controller button prompts)

The bad:
I want to make it clear that I don't think anything in this game is horrible by any means, I think, at worst, the game needs some touch ups. As far as I can tell, most of the music is not original. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it kind of leaves the game with not a lot of audible identity. Mind you, none of the music is bad, the final fights section is a bop. Also, the camera "controls" are nice but I kind of don't understand why they're here.

Honestly, I'd give the game a good 7/10. It's a free 3GB download so there's not much to complain about. At the time of writing, there's only one episode and it's only 2-3 hours long. I'd say give the game a go if you're into it. The characters will give you something to obsess over like my friend group has at least.

Good game, I'm looking forward to future episode releases.

This review was made just after completing the game. While it is a fun time, the end of the games starts throwing what feels like unfair challenges at you but nothing impossible. Some mechanics that start great become tedious. However if you're looking for a good singleplayer game, id still give this one at least a consideration.

If we're looking at just the story and gameplay, this game is amazing from start to finish. Stability? Sure. Theres some. I only really experince bugs towards later in the game. Water and camera started spazing out towards the end of the game. Buy this game on sale, or full price if you're desperate to play this game on pc.
