Sonic Racing: Crossworlds....

Non avrei mai pensato che Sonic avrebbe battuto Mario, specialmente considerando che dopo aver provato il gioco nel playtest e ora dopo ben 26 ore di gioco (fatte principalmente nei festivals) mi sta facendo finalmente godere un gioco di corse.

La possibilità di dividere le vetture a metà e unirle con l'equivalente del flex tape da vita a certe combinazioni che sembrano tirare fuori da qualche account blursed ma è quello che tutti possono fare, specialmente se si ha il season pass visto le vetture di Minecraft, Yakuza e Spongebob.

I festival però mostrano un pò di problemi legati al fatto che dall'essere rognosi da finire ora stanno diventando si facili da finire se si vuole il minimo (i 1000 punti) ma allo stesso tempo non stanno mettendo altro per far rimanere la gente, specialmente visto che ad ogni festival vanno a fare casini con il multiplayer.

Parlando del multiplayer, forse quest'ultimo ha ancora bisogno di qualche fix, specialmente con i vari problemi che ci stanno in cui mi ha causato fastidio e ho dovuto aspettare che il resto della lobby finiva una gara prima di ricrearla visto che l'errore usciva sempre in momenti poco opportuni

Great variation on the usual Suika game.

With a cast of characters with their own special ability, each game could go in a different way from the last, also the creator does play it pretty much often on their twitch stream against Meteora herself

Please note: I also played the next fest demo, so the time i played is a little bit higher

A game which heavly required some mind tricks, can be a little hard if you're unlucky to never have an opportunity to vote, also the dev is taking critism pretty seriously especially with a problem that we could say is harming my gameplay, but at the same time i'm using to play mind tricks

So, i don't want to sugar coat the game too much, good premise for an early access game, but i do feel like there's something heavly wrong with the role assignment, got dissident 6 times in 7 games, 4 with once me being the Tyrant in the demo and 2 dissident now that the game got released, i had to befriend the dev to ask in DM if there was something wrong in the code which i hope does get fixed as one patch was already deployed but seems there's something darker in the code, a dissident we could say

Interesting visual novel for april fool, kinda scared me at the beginning considering certain interactions done by Sega and another game developer (somebody might know which one i'm talking about) and so i was worried it was going to be a non canon crossover, frankly i just wished it to be longer with more Sonic characters but i suppose i can't complain because is a free game after all

Also, can we talk how cute was the ending?

**Revised Review (1K hours)**

Decided to play a little more of this game to see if maybe i would be wrong about what i said before but nope, i find myself even more convinced there's something wrong with this game.

Microtransactions continue to be pushed to the player, in some cases those are in the shape of DLC which, if somebody here cares about Steam Points, at least gives sort of a reason to buy them.

Achievement Hunting continues to be something slow if you don't use potions, but considering you need to buy crates to get said potions, and the way to buy crates are connected to the in game gems (50 for a normal crate and 500 for a golden crate) and the way to earn gems little by little disappear as you finish more campaigns, you might feel more pushed to open your wallet

I'm curious what they might do for the third Battle Pass, because at first i was worried you would had to be playing the game every single day but i was wrong on that, at least it felt a bit fair, but is the only positive thing i could add to the review

I'm not sure if i might do a second update to this review when i reach 2K or 1.5K hours, i still hope if it is possible to get it 100% and keep it for at least one month

I wish i could really give this game a positive review as it isn't your usual Cookie Clicker type of game but at the same time, this game suffers from a major problem.

Too many microtransactions for things, 10$ for a character if you need it ASAP? and i'm not sure if you could say the game plays on FOMO when it comes to which time gate you open, is not like said offers are trully time limited, more like limited to when you open the game as if you reopen them most likely will appear again

Also apparently this game is considered a must play on astat if somebody loves bragging rights, at least is something positive considering how cookie clicker achievements are considered over there.

Siberian Mayhem can be seen as a clear improvement over Serious Sam 4 when it comes to gameplay and story, but at the same time can be seen as too short in the campaign side to be considered a stand alone title with only 5 maps which are long and full of enemies but never too hard or too easy, but i can't complain that much, unless Devolver or Croteam might all of a sudden announce Serious Sam Fusion 2023 (or Fusion 2) just for Serious Sam 4 and Siberian Mayhem, considering how croteam kinda treats the entire franchise.

Oh serious sam 4, un gioco che al momento difficilmente raccomando per quante cose sono state rimosse dal 3, iniziando dal multiplayer castrato da 16 giocatori a 4 giocatori che non permetterà mai di avere partite caotiche con ondate di palle di cannone sparate come se fossero un'orchestra per non parlare del fatto che manca il workshop, che avrebbe allungato la vita del titolo per un pò se si va a vedere come per gli altri capitoli e fusion in particolare.

(Però la musica è decente quindi se vi domandate perché la recensione sembra fatta di fretta sappiate che almeno ho nomitato il gioco per migliore colonna sonore)

Update: I JUST CAN'T ANYMORE, DESYNC HERE, Too many bad syncs there, this is now desync city no matter what you do online, oh and the news are broken, giving a 404, i just hope it will not become a vector for potential virus distribution at this point

This review is positive only because revolution includes the workshop and the first and second encounter, if this game only had the new campaign made just for revolution, bright island just feels unfinished and unpolished, maybe in the future if the entire campaign gets redone both in design (I had done the campaign in coop and there was a moment where we had to restart the map because a portal didn't spawned and both of us were stuck behind unable to progress) and even performance (yeah, there were moments where bright island run that bad, we're talking of sub 20 fps with a 1050ti and a i5-7400 which seems hard to believe i know)

Well, after over 400 hours thrown into this game frankly, with the deep lore behind it (even if can be somewhat slow to progress, as is mostly connected to events) it is a must buy at the end, plus all the DLCs

Se dovessi scegliere tra questo gioco e Ultimate Arena di Zeb89 preferirei scegliere Ultimate Arena visto poi come questo "sviluppatore" vuole far pagare per il suo gioco dopo che finisce il periodo di accesso anticipato

Questo "gioco" è uno spreco di tempo, ma non semplicemente uno spreco di tempo di gioco ma anche il tempo per scaricare il gioco non vale la pena.

Già dagli screenshot è facile vedere che il tutto è troppo lontano dall'essere considerato un accesso anticipato, sembra uno di quei prototipi che fai in circa 24 ore, ed è già abbastanza generoso, infatti considerando il tempo che è passato da quando il gioco è apparso su steam a quando il rilascio è accaduto lo sviluppatore poteva implementare altre mappe oppure sistemare le 3 mappe che stanno nel gioco.

Le due mappe di deathmatch erano assolutamente ridicole e piene di problemi, la modalità con i dinosauri è penosa oltre ad avere modelli che fanno pena.

Poi non parliamo di quando è facile fare un ragequit, se premi ESC non appare un menù chiedendoti che cosa vuoi fare ma ti rimanda direttamente al menù principale.

E vogliamo parlare dell'interfaccia utente? totalmente ridicola e forse lo sviluppatore stava cercando di andare per lo stesso stile di Black Ops 4 ma il font non funziona visto che anche dagli screenshot si vede che il font non è ben piazzato.

Potrei fare un'aggiornamento di questa recensione tra un mese sperando che possa cambiare qualcosa, ma ne dubito
