It's an actual D&D video game, or as close as we will ever get. Murder hobos? Sure. Shenanigans? Absolutely. So many tiny details in every inch of the game and so many interactions that you have to see to believe. They've thought of everything.

Loved the game, it deserved better than EA gave it. Was released behind a paywall and EA eventually released it back to the developer but the damage was done. A great fun take on dodgeball, and a well executed multiplayer experience. It was a game that wasn't afraid to be a game, try wild ideas and see where they went. Loved throwing my friends as the ball and being KOed because they were thrown back at me. Will definitely run a private server for my buddies, but wished it hadn't come to that.

Early Access Review
While Coral Island is still in Early Access and definitely has some room to grow, the bones that exist are already a lot of fun. The game runs smoothly, at least for me personally. The dev team have been extremely vocal in what they're working on and their priorities. Fixes have rolled out steadily and their road map seems pretty straight forward. While not for everyone in its current state, this game will be a heavy hitter when it's finished.

Awesome prequel to an amazing franchise. Kamurocho never fails to disappoint.

I have really enjoyed this game, the agents are unique with backstories that give them a personality within the game. Dialog is pretty punny and on the nose at times but I feel like that's just how Saints Row was so it didn't come as a surprise.

Combat is fun and rotating through the characters feels fluid. Traversing the city can be done multiple ways and exploration is rewarded with power ups and cosmetics.

Have only seen a handful of issues (usually cars clipping into each other and getting stuck) but otherwise game runs smoothly with no crashing or stuttering. (1080 TI, I7 4770k)

Overall would recommend it (it's not Saints Row, don't expect that).

I never got to play this on the PS3 but snatched it up so fast when I saw it hit steam since it has just about everything you could want from a game.

Cool alternate history storyline: Check
Cast of memerable and unique characters: Check
Gameplay that is fun and yet brings new things to the table: Check
Tons of codex entries about the people and things in the world: Check
Replayability: Doublecheck

Honestly this is going in my top 10 games of the last 10 years easy. Its a breath of fresh air in a genre that usually gets stuck playing the newest Final Fantasy.
