Tactical Breach Wizards is a fun turn-based strategy with phenomenal writing.

Gameplay wise, it's deceptively simple. Unlimited rewinds? What's the catch?
The catch is your own perfectionism. Didn't play out quite how you wanted? Restart. Didn't account for how that enemy would move? Restart. Forgot completely about that side objective? Restart.

TBW is a game that you can spend hours on obsessing over details that might help you accomplish one goal, but put you in danger.

However, the real star of the show is the writing. Tom Francis has lovingly crafted a superbly compelling world with believable motivations for everyone involved. At the end of the day, it makes me yearn for more of this world. Perhaps a Jagged Alliance style game? Something set within Kalan, or perhaps Medil when it declared independence?

In any case, Tactical Breach Wizards is a supremely fun game with an enjoyable story. One that I would gladly recommend.
