BRINK is a game from PS3 shooter era, 2011. Searching over the internet for, you're generally presented with many hyperbolic statements about this game. The marketing campaign was advertised with an overblown, sophisticated talking points, such as: heavily team-oriented; SMART system; complex story in shooter game and so on. Public reception focused mostly on cons - bad stability and performace at launch, only one gamemode, generic weaponry etc.
Now, here's the problem: they share the same vision about BRINK, namely that it is and should be online shooter. But when it comes down to it, I don't think that's what should expect from BRINK. This game overall is rather a combination of many game genres, with online component added as an extra. Thats's why BRINK's main value is it's hybrid nature - it isn't focused on one thing particularly, but tries to do many things at once.
Of course, one may think that it is not a great final result - having nothing to stand out. And this is true most of the time. And yet, with BRINK being a free game without predatory elements common in free games, playing this game is a very unique experience. It offers many twists of the general-streamline designs, in which naturally some work better, some less. But that is exactly why I do recommend BRINK to at least try out - for it's variety, it's vision. You may not like it, but has a strong chance to bring this breath of a fresh air.

In short, It's really great title for FPS fans. And not just that, SW has also melee combat, ki-magic powers and some bosses to fight. So I'd definitely reccomend this title, even just for one playthrough

I Valve myślało że niby uda się zabawić niewiedzą fanów, a tu taki zgrzyt.

Poważny Sam to nie zwykły bohaterzyna, ale koks. Generalnie, przypominają mi się stare Shootery, gdzie postacie i NPC dzieliło się na męskich badassów i tą resztę do naparzania. Byłem tam, i widziałem, że to było dobre. No ale w SS3:BFE można też sobie pograć z dobra Grafiką, i przypuszczam, jak zawsze dobrym Samem.
