"QOL" update; The only update this game has gotten in years, was the addition of another generic launcher and boxes for you to accidentally click on that subsequently gives some bigwig on their mountain of money and smothered dreams sweet sweet $$ for every one of your clicks...

Switched from console have about 200ish hrs on there, was simply waiting for a sale to purchase again on here. Before this I was using RS:RO2 as a replacement squad-based shooter but sadly slowed down on it as I learned it's now an unappreciated decade old game.

If you like a hardcore fps with intense gunfights and uniquely realistic mechanics then I would recommend this, has it's quirks but the thought out roadmap and dev dedication gives me hope. Also in my second game accidentally shot my teammate in the ankle due to fog of war and he didn't indiscriminately execute me like most other squad shooters I play on here so overall 10/10 o7 to Sgt. Bloody Ankle

Heard about this game from a friend and asked the dev for a code before it launched publicly on Steam and loved its concept and gameplay from the beginning. In short, a lightweight DayZ with more PvE elements (and better imo, DayZ doesn't have minibosses) and with a better integrated base building system. The developer is very nice and open for suggestions/constructional criticism, It's a single developer project to my knowledge so try to keep an open mind when playing. There is a discord as well to join if you do play so you can report any bugs/hackers without the dev being online.

10/10 would confront again
