Sea of Thieves at first sight u would think its a beautiful game amazing graphics and a open massive world to explore. I am a sea of thieves Veteran player I joined since cursed sails ( The second content update to the game ) I met a lot of people from around the world and discovered the "PvP Community" and with that I noticed that the game I thought is a perfect pirate game is false. One of the most known issues in the game is the hit registration ( you hit an enemy with a ranged weapon and he doesn't get damage) and then the back track issue ( you miss someone but it will deal damage ). Now Sea of thieves is about the freedom every play style is welcome at least that's what the developers wanted however it is the opposite the hit reg issue is an issue since the game was released and was never fixed. The Developers tried to fix it however failed multiple times and just ignored the problem since the amount of people who do the pvp in the game is small and for the xbox players there was no problem. Now there is a sort of hidden fight against the play style called double gunning ( players equip 2 guns instead of sword ) and the casual part of the game that tries to avoid pvp and do their pve wants it removed because they think its too op and don't take the time to get better. Problem is that the developers are listening to them and ignoring the players who like the double gun play style so they nerf it and buff the sword to force players use the sword. With developers like this that don't listen to their good players but instead to the players who don't even try to get better and even promoting a server alliance that is an exploit of the server system the game goes to a bad state. I love the game however the changes that developers add to the game that are completely unnecessary ruin the experience of the game. The developer team is super unprofessional since they release a hot fix with a 7 GB update. Think twice before you buy the game with reading this review.
