I LOVED this game! Watching the huge jumps in quality in this series has been an absolute delight. And hearing more and more voice acting has been so cool.
Game and character logic seems to have finally evened out a fair bit more (even though having 90's tech in the 60's DOES bug the ♥♥♥♥ out of me it's a minor detail).
Atmosphere is ALWAYS top notch and this game is no different but some of the boundaries/invisible walls were a little wonky for me.
Did I call the semi twist of who the guy was? Yes. Did I still enjoy the hell out of this episode? Yes! 8/10

Early Access Review
I closed out of the game after playing a solid three hours of it and realized I have been clenching my entire torso the duration of playtime. What seems like a simple game loop keeps you guessing by throwing effective curveballs to even the most familiar and established elements of play.
A well done ambient vibe with truly excellent sound design. Nothing sets you on edge like hearing multiple threats coming from all sides or not knowing who is truly still in the dark.

Some things I noticed: It is really easy to sequence break some missions, like I did in Night Five, causing me to put a pin in my game play. Another is the flickering of the flashlight at half power. While a photosensitivity warning is provided at the start, it is still rather painful and disruptive of a core mechanic and I'd love to see an alternative accessibility feature in the future.
Overall fantastic experience and I can't wait to play more!

Absolutely love the atmosphere and vibes of these games! They can go from cozy to creepy at the drop of a hat.
It never bothers me if Devs use pre-made assets or locations as long as they're used well, which 616 Games accomplishes.
Huge improvements over the first game story wise and character wise, the plot logic is still a little wonky and the 'be quiet' segments are just a little frustrating but that's something that can be ironed out with experience and time.
A few bugs here and there but a quick restart will take care of that. I would LOVE to see a Brightness slider added to later games!
Very excited to see what the future holds for this series. Keep up the good work. Overall 7/10

Very fun! A little janky in some spots and the character logic did drive me a bit batty but overall a very fun experience. Love the way environments and atmosphere is captured, if they put out videos of rainy nights I'd listen to them every night to sleep. For sure going to check out the other episodes! 8/10

A fun game that learned quite a bit from the first episode! Good game loop with fun puzzles that have just the right amount of difficulty.
Only disappointing part was the HEAVY use of generative AI (even if that one joke was funny) for images and AI voice over in some parts that left a real sour taste for the game itself. If Gen AI is used in future episodes I will be skipping them, which is so unfortunate as these games have great potential.
Overall 7/10

A delightful Spot the Difference game with a full story, cutscenes AND voice acting! The difficulty scales up nicely so you never feel too overwhelmed with a great variety of anomalies to fix. As a fan of games like I'm on Observation Duty, Paranormal Night Shift felt like a breath of fresh air in concept and execution.

Gorgeous pixel style graphics, a heartfelt story, well thought out characters, and perfect puzzles. This game encourages you to not just complete it, but to exercise your empathy muscles to genuinely do the right thing by the people you interact with.

Triumphant highs and soul crushing lows, this game is a masterpiece of story telling that has 100% earned it spot in the Indie Horror Hall of Fame. Complex and real feeling characters, mind tickling puzzles and a ton of small details that will stay with you long after the game's end.

Vibrant environments, wondrous and seamless graphics, interesting characters, a believable protagonist, stimulating puzzles, and a healthy resource management system with truly unique weaponry brings this game to another level! I absolutely adore this game so far and find myself thinking of ways to solve the challenges hours after I've closed the game out. Do yourself a massive favor and play MFN today!

Bugged Killer on release, removed voice lines we were excited for and now no licensed Survivor. I finally have my favorite and y'all mucked it all up, I'm so disappointed. Would love a refund for this chapter.
