People who are making fun of people who are not able to play this game is just sad. I have a RTX 3080, an R7 2700x , installing it on my M.2 NVMe and so I don't need "better specs" or "stop running it on your toaster PC" talk. The requirements for the game is there and I think most people who had issues could have easily ran it and I will discuss my issues with this port.
I really do hope I am the only person that has experienced this, but I really wanted to enjoy this game a lot on my PC and I am not able to give it a good review as I cannot play it on Steam. I am playing it on console, it is wonderful, but I really do wish this port was better as I have not been able to play it at all and I wish I was able to do it on PC. I have tried every solution ever, I had this game start perfectly but with some FPS problems and I was like alright let me solve it like everyone has. Which did not help, so I thought to just restart my PC for the sake of it and try again.

After restarting my PC, now it doesn't even want to launch and I had worked tirelessly for 2 days straight to make sure it was working. I saw many reviews just suggest the 60 fps, I want to list all the options I had tried and I truly hope it works for others as this game who do not have consoles.

1. I tinkered around my monitor settings such as making my refresh rate 60 Hz, 1080p, Game is on 60 FPS.

2. Ran it as admin.

4. I already had Media feature pack as I had this OS from Win 7 to Wind 10 long ago.

Trying to run as a different user as it might create a new saved game folder within myDocuments with probably fresher settings. However; no luck.
6. I used specialK and other mods I have not been able to make it work even with help of amazing community members.
7. Deleted savegames and config file within Document folder and also deleted associated registry keys for this game.
8. Reinstalled this game 9 different times.

TLDR; This game is amazing, enjoyable to play and I just cannot play it even with high spec PC even after trying many different troubleshooting methods. I have been playing games for a long time, I know how to troubleshoot a bad port, but if I cannot launch it even after following through many steps I have done before and other methods that I discovered while troubleshooting with other people to help people who might experience the same problems to solve it hopefully. Thank you SE and everyone who helped me to solve this problem.

Personal Opinion: I am enjoying my time with this game and it is so amazing so far. I am loving the updates and continuous support this game is getting is really nice. Highly recommended if you want a game that you want to play with another friend while other co-op games are sort of getting boring or moving to other stores. I love the RNG on every level even after you fail it in the hardest quality, it just changes it to a completely new map and it's pretty amazing.

Grind: It is grindy, but it it is very chill grindy, it doesn't shove it in your face where you have to grind to win and you get to it slowly. However of course the end game will be really hour hungry from the people I have talked to about the game and they do mention it will be. However; I have played warframe and other grindy games. This has been sort of the nice introduction of it will be grindy and we're going to feed you little by little.


Co-op I have only played this with personal friends, we always try out different classes until we stuck with two that we loved and benefited us mission wise. Which would be the scout and driller. Other people had different mindset and theirs was more aggressive stand and it's just enjoyable. You can change your class anytime you want (of course when you're in the arsenal/HQ) not in the mission. You can rank each class to your willing and you can experiment with your friends. Like I did with driller and scout, my friend goes for the things that are high to get an object and I just make ways for him. I didn't experiment the rest, but I am sure they work well together or you can play the same character. You'll enjoy it a lot as friends and this comes from a person that has been trying to enjoy co-op games with friends when it always ends up dropped and never played again. This game is enjoyable for me and my friend(s) in which we keep on playing because you feel like progressing and they also show the progress of your friend when they're in the lobby so you can help them instead of asking them "Which level are you on?". I haven't had enough experiences with the community, but they sort of always quit when you die in missions even on the hardest missions and I hope that is only bad experience I have.


Gameplay I enjoyed the gameplay part of it, but I do wish there was more to do and I am still in the early game. I am sure it gets more fun in the future and especially the RNG in each mission even after repeating it. I do wish you can build platforms on every class, but it is restricted by class unfortunately however it is a borderlands, minecraft and left 4 dead crossover which makes fictional sense. I love the dwarves, I love the voice acting on them, I love the humour in the quotes of every other character. There are always room for improving and that can be said for every game. This game is improving and I have bought it and played it for a few hours, enjoyed it left it and now I am back playing it even more because of the new updates.

All in all thank you Ghost Ship Games and the community for keep this dream alive. I feel like I had a dream of this game existing sometime in the past and I am glad this exists. You're all amazing and awesome. Thank you.

I get this game and I enjoyed it. My specs are not the best, but I made sure every additional option is off and I am only a generation off cpu wise and 3 generations GPU wise.

The community in this game for my 9 online sessions has been wonderful. Nice people that help you out, tell you tips and more. I am sure it will be plagued by toxic people, but I have enjoyed the monster hunter since MH 3 on the 3ds and I played more Generations than most of my 3ds games. I am also a PC gamer who has played loads of games while playing on my 3ds and I have played lots of online/MMORPG games. I have over 1k hours on most of them that are not p2p and have played warframe to hell.

Now I will actually talk more about this game. I love it, I love the community, but I don't like how unstable it is. It is a good game, and after 11 hours it started acting up. I can play games that are heavy in CPU and GPU use, yet still not able to go the launch screen of this game anymore because it freezes my PC. Thank you CAPCOM for making this game on PC, but if you could make another patch for people who have bought this game for a big price point. I have tried every method the internet can offer, I have done my own fair share of troubleshooting computers, I have looked through the forums of the support and more. I am a guy who cares not about graphics at all, I have put this game in the lowest possible settings, I have followed what the community told me to do to make my computer use less resources and I don't want to give up now. I love this game and not every game in the world is perfect, but I have to thank the people responsible for publishing this game to us the PC gamers. We need a better a PC port, thank you for this and I hope this problem gets solved soon.

I recommend this because I enjoyed it when it lasted, I want it to be better and I don't people to be toxic but be patient. I want to play this game endlessly because I enjoy it and what it has to offer. I hope for a patch soon and I thank the community for not being harsh on new players to this series.
