Alright, gonna do a full on dump here, all my problems with the game, what I like about it, what they could improve but isn't really important.

So, current expansion (Lightfall) really good combat, fun missions, ♥♥♥♥ story. Like, you spend all that time training with the robot kisser and you can't even freely wield Strand without getting the exhaustion debuff, even after completing the campaign and getting the silly string to use as you please.

Prior expansions are a bit better, Beyond Light is worth getting for you sweaty PvP mains (looking at you, Stasis Hunters), Forsaken has a decent raid and the handcannon that fuels my inability to let go, and Witch Queen has weapon crafting where you can make the greatest speedrun weapon of all time, an Eager Edge sword. Can't do any DLC campaigns prior to Beyond Light, which I am disappointed about, but it's probably for the better so that there are no more edgy Hunters popping up with the inability to let go.

As for the next expansion (dropping in around 16 hours from me posting this), we'll see if it's a good one or absolute ass. They got Keith ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ David to voice Zavala, they better do the legend Lance Reddick good with Keith's lines. Either way, Final Shape is the last campaign I buy and ever touch, so Bungo, better get this right and not lay off half the damn studio again.

Update: 6/7/2024, a few days after Final Shape drops, and oh my god it's absolute ass. On launch, I got a bunch of error codes which booted me to orbit while I tried to do the campaign, and I would excuse this, but it's Bungie, there is a pattern every time a major expansion drops where a lot of people start to play, they should have predicted this. The campaign is short and time gated, and for some reason, my frames drop from the 60-90 I normally get to 10-15 at random times, exclusively in the Pale Heart. Honestly, don't get TFS unless you are willing to deal with frame drops, have a near-NASA level set up, or they fix the frame drops.
