Stellaris, after its countless tweaks and revisions has become an ugly, buggy mess. It's become a game of finding a save halting crash and waiting for a patch that fixes it, only to later discover one that's already been discovered and discussed by players, but not acknowledged by the dev team. Individual games of Stellaris can take dozens of hours to play, so brick walls like this are especially unforgivable.

I just downloaded 17 gigabytes of video game and I can't play it because the login servers are down.

A really fantastic fighting game that can be easily enjoyed by newcomers to the genre or people who have been around since the arcade machine days. It looks great, plays great, and is constantly being worked on by the dev team.

Also it comes with a music test screen, which automatically means that I have to give this game a 5/5.

Train Simulator places itself in a very strange middle ground between game and simulator, and it doesn't seem to come close enough to being either one to please very many people. The user interface is very simple and easy to use, but lacks quite a few details that would make the experience more capable and realistic, in other words closer to the "simulator" that it's claiming to be. In-cabin interaction is kept to a bare minimum with many dials, levers and buttons except only the most critical locked away as background decoration.

Games are long, but that's to be expected with any simulator. Most casual players will quickly find themselves getting bored however, since the driver's usual job is essentially just a speed regulator. If you can be entertained enough by the sound and look of your engine as it cruises down the track for an hour or so, then you're golden.

I've been debating with myself whether or not to bring up the downloadable content, since it's something that's always brought up in other reviews, but I guess I might as well while I'm here.
The average price for a new locomotive is $20 USD without sale. It's a famously bad deal and one that's never been addressed or remedied by Dovetail. They only feature so many engines in the game itself because they expect people to pay for their ludacrisly overpriced DLC to compensate. Because of this association, I believe that it comes as a detriment to the game itself.

Rail fans and sim fans alike deserve better than what they were given. As someone who's both, I'm disappointed to say the very least.
