It will take you a couple of campaigns to get the hang of it, but it is worth the effort. After some time (read: 600 hours) it might get repetitive, but you can occupy yourself by challenging yourself with increasingly harder campaigns.
Dont forget to install some mods, a must have for my campaings are "Gigastructural Constructs" and "Ancient Cache of Technologies" :)

Play it with mods. I recommend nexusmods. That is all.

If you have anything big coming up like exams or an important report, dont buy this game, its addictive.
If you dont, i absolutely recommend you buy this game.

The graphics are great. The gameplay is fun, even though it is repetitive. But if you finally push through that last sector and complete your first run, it will be worth it. It controls really good, so you will probably never have a "okay, that was total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" moment.

If your'e not into games that involve (moderate amounts of) grinding, you should probably not buy it.
Also the story is not the core of this game, it's rather a stylistic device to explain the rogue-like aspect. So dont expect too much of it.
