Run while you still can.

Between the nostalgia for both the music and the game's story, there's two well crafted and themed games that still hold up. Proud of the team involved not only in making them, but in bringing them back to life on Steam. I'm glad to be able to help support people who made my teenaged years just that much better.

There's good and there's bad

EDIT 5/3/24: Shame on Sony for pulling a bait and switch this badly.
EDIT 5/6/24: Now they just need to yeet the crap anti-cheat but glad Arrowhead and a butt-ton of gamers have convinced Sony to not be quite as crap of a company for a bit.

Good:
gameplay is a lot of fun whether solo or with a squad.
you never feel like you're butting in when you drop in to aid a random person.
enemies provide a challenge no matter the level
very easy to get sucked into
mission variety ensures you don't get bored
customization is a lot of fun
the level of satire makes for an absolute blast

Bad:
you have to absolutely nuke the graphics unless you have a godly computer
server stability is spotty

I feel like this is one of the few games of this type that doesn't feel punishing for starting over, just taking the lessons from the previous try. I look forward to many lessons.

I've played this since I played it as a physical box copy when I was in high school, that there's still occasional updates/patches blows my mind and that the modding community is so vast and fun, I love it.

Hours played since 2011: Countless.
Happiness Gained since ability to Resub through Steam was acquired: Immeasurable.
Best Class Overall: Imperial Agent/Sith Inquisitor. (Maybe some Bounty Hunter)

If I wanted to spend half an hour trying to get Uplay to not suck, I would work for Ubisoft.

I transferred over from Blizzard's launcher, and while the game is fun (and i'll still probably play it) I can't, in good faith, defend a game where half the content is hidden behind a seasonal pass. Otherwise, it's good to play just to unwind after work without putting too much thought into it

Easily one of the greatest additions to a game of all time.
