What is there to say about this incredible game that hasn't already been said? Having played the free version for many years, I was happy to see this finally come to Steam, and more than happy to throw a little money to developer Bay 12 Games and publisher Kitfox. Dwarf Fortress is the deepest and most interesting sim game out there, with hundreds upon hundreds of hours of gameplay that never gets old.

Easily some of the most fun I've ever had playing a game. Highly recommended for anyone who likes to explore.

A fantastic take on the "rogue-like" genre. Tons of pop-culture references, fun gameplay, and mountains of loot. Don't forget your grilled cheese!
