This is a perfect 2D RPG for what it offers, and more.

I agreed to play this game because of a recommendation from a friend, and I was very confused. I almost never play games like these and didn't know what to expect. My experience with this game from start to finish was phenomenal and unforgettable.

I could type paragraphs but I'll keep my points short.

Story - Seemingly basic and predictable i was constantly spun around in new directions because of the setting of the game. The atmosphere really did a 180 on what I was expecting most times, and made every main/side quest extremely enjoyable & interactive.

Art: From the eye-catching logo, to the character sprites, and the map design choices; everything was amazing. I adore the style they went with and it grew me on exponentially throughout the playthrough of the game. some of the characters are downright adorable/funny.

Sound: A perfect soundtrack. The music in this game has more meaning than just a common theme. They cater the soundtrack to the theme of the event/area you're in and it really sets the mood for the battles and exploration in the game. Every character has a unique voice and personality that compliments the tone of battles, even going so far as to have specific effects for specific attacks. Fig slapping someone will always be ingrained in my mind.

Fun: FUN! :D

Extra: There is so much attention to detail to most aspects of this game I truly believe it's perfect. The characters, the scenes, the jokes, the experience of it all. Fantastic.
