I feel like most people saying the actual content of the dlc isn't good were convinced of that before they played it, it really does feel like more risk of rain 2.
I can't judge the bugs *too* harshly (aside from the xbox port, come on guys) as it's been only two days but they are definitely the main issue people are, understandably, taking with it. Hopefully we see a patch fixing most everything sometimes soon or my opinion may change but as it stands, it's looking to be a good game with a rough launch

In Plants vs. Zombies: Game of the Year edition, Crazy Dave returns from the war to find his hometown in ruins as the woke mind virus has turned his suburban neighborhood, formerly full of god fearing americans who embrace traditional values, into a progressive hellhole inhabited by pronoun using SJWs with dyed hair and nose piercings. Luckily, Dave finds the you, the only reasonable patriot in the tri-state area, and teaches you how to pull yourself up by your bootstraps by starting a garden to grow your own food. By placing the 10 commandments in your yard and homeschooling the plants so they will avoid communism and the gay agenda that is found in the public school system, these plants will learn to fight against the radical liberal groomer zombies and take back suburbia with those good old fashioned values on which we used to rely. This is a great example as to how we should raise our children, shielding them from leftist ideas and teaching them the right way. These themes work greatly with the abilities unlocked as the plants grow older, letting them fetch your beers from the freezer and allowing you to beat them with your belt when they misbehave. Since the game came out, people have condemned this behavior as "child abuse" and "horrifically selfish" but they just want to brainwash your children into thinking that they are "their own people" rather than a vessel for you to possess, just like your wife. As your plants grow up, the liberals are more and more determined to pull them in to their cult. The game makes these leftists get more and more radical course of it's runtime, starting out with people who "just think racism is bad" and accelerating to people who want to take away our rights to harass minorities and freakshow homosexual deviants who want to trans your plants. The final liberal you encounter identifies a transexual nonbinary furry advocating for the absurd concept that transsexuals should have "rights." This serves as a wonderful demonstration of the the nefarious ideas hiding behind people's words, exposing what the liberal gen-z groomers really mean when they say that you shouldn't call people slurs or burn homosexuals on stakes. The gameplay consists of strategically choosing how to separate your plants based on factors, such as race, gender, and IQ scores, as to make sure they avoid developing any "progressive" or "tolerant" ideas, while still being in positions to defend themselves from the zombified woke moralists just across the street. If any new players are in need of advice, I'd recommend keeping women closer to the house so they can intuit their roles as keepers of the home. Alongside this, if you have the resources, give two or three plants an absurd amount of money and status, this will create a system where resources will trickle into the most capable hands and the social roles will adapt properly to keep you a few steps ahead of the commies who let just anybody have as much power as anybody else. This gameplay is perfectly designed to be an enthralling strategy experience and to teach players of the structures that would improve the state of america as a country. I cannot recommend this game enough, all of the negative reviews are from disgraceful leftists thoughtlessly bashing anything that goes against their ideals. And to those leftists, stay "triggered," history will decide who's "cancelled."

(just for the record this is parody, in case that wasn't clear)
