This has to be one of the best game I've played. The story is beautiful in any way. As for the soundtrack, it's undoubtedly the best. Every single one of them is memorable and amazing. The characters are lovable and well-written. Especially goat mom. Their interactions, banters, and attitudes is what makes me like this game so much.

However, this game is indeed not for everyone. A pixelated and old school jrpg style game may turn people away. Also, you may have heard about the community surrounding this game. I think it's best for you to just completely ignore them and take a shot at it.

If you have played Undertale, I also highly recommend you to try Toby's latest game, Deltarune. It's a parallel story of Undertale. It has the same mechanics, and some parts were even improved. But, that's for a different review.

I've really never been a huge fan of anime or anime games in general and as a matter of fact, Visual Novels aren't really my thing either, but I can say that this one's an exception.

Back in somewhere around 2018-2019, I have actually played this game for like 10 minutes and never played it again because as I've said, I was not into these type of games. However, recently I just decided that I would play the game again. For real this time, and also for the memes lol. So, that's exactly what I did.


It's a visual novel, obviously. As you have probably seen from other reviewers or content creators, this game is not as innocent as what it seems to be. It's very dark..., really, as the game tags suggest. This game follows you, a perfectly normal student, being 'forced' by one of the club members to join a literature club at your school. The club now consists of you and 4 other schoolgirls. Although you just joined the club and 'barely' adapted, you and your friends now have to prepare for the school festivals because it's coming very soon. As you spend more time with your friends, you slowly realized that things are..... changing. That's actually the only thing I can say without spoiling it.


Honestly, this game emotionally-affected me more than what I expected. I am genuinely still trembled by the story it offers, even to the day I wrote this review. In my opinion, the theme of the game is not too terrifying per se, but my personal experiences have truly amplified the effects. But that's what makes a good psychological horror game, right?

That's all there is to say. I highly recommend you to pick up this game and try it for yourself. It's free too!... Or is it?
Oh by the way, I also suggest you to read all the warnings. For comfort sake, I guess.


This game is 100% worth playing.
