Awesome game. Played it in my youth and rediscoverd it again. Also playing it with my son is awesome.

Really nice game. Love to play it with friends that are on the same level. Needs a lot of patience and skill to master.

In my point of view a big upgrade for the CS series. I didn't likle CS 1.6 due to its heavy tagging mechanism and the non smooth gameplay since i was used to the very precise and neat movement from unreal tournament. However CS:GO really stepped up the game and tackled excalt y the points needed to be fixed since CS 1.6. Guns have a nice balance and have a very predictable mechanic. It takes practice but its determenistic and you'll be able to learn to handle them.
Also they build a huge professional gaming scene around this game which ensures a huge player base which is very important to have always enough players around.

However there is a slight drawback to all this goodness. The community often seems very annoying or even worse. And there are defenately plenty of cheats/hacks out there where valve seems to be unable to handle.
