NEWEST SCAM DO NOT fall for people asking you to put items in trade window and then cancel last second to take a pic , they are trying to scam you into the trade completing by them using a program to make your game window go to desktop so you cant click cancel.or they keep canceling the trade saying its lag , BE AWARE when trade keeps canceling.


they will also try to send you private messages in Discord for these false links from a forum offering you great cheap sales and a hacked link to the trade , be sure to block or ignore the suspicious.
they will send Group invitations on steam for trading and then send you messages saying you have won something for free, i delete those groups because it seems too suspect.
Do NOT!!! ADD these random group invites where they keep saying or offering give away or spamming you have won an item.

The Scammers/Hackers miss spell them or separate the words with - - instead of / /, making a fake steam account looking website to trick
you & ask you to sign into them , that's how they steal your account.
If they really want you to add their other account that is legitimate they can give you their Friend ID number. or you ask them for the friend ID #

go into your steam account and find these settings
making sure you ENABLE 2 FACTOR AUTHENTICATION on your steam account in account.
ADD the authenticity app & your cell # to Steam. ALSO do this for your Email account too.


Watch out for people when you are trading or buying an expensive item, they put the high
end item in the window and then adding other junk ones telling you they are for free , they
will try to take out the expensive one without you noticing and hope u click accept.
Scammers will ask you to join a ESL ( Esports League ) match for 1 round for credits reward and
give a fake ESL link to sign up that looks like the real web page but again spelled differently , trying to steal YOUR info for steam again.

AGAIN they will steal friends accounts and send a message saying i am having sales on items or BM items and give a link , DO NOT CLICK LINKS EVEN FROM FRIENDS, GOOGLE KEY WORDS TO FIND WHAT A LINK MIGHT BE OR ASK FOR THE KEY WORDS TO GOOGLE TO FIND A WEBSITE WITH THE INFO YOU WANT.
