This game is quite good,

If you're looking for a Dead Space experience, thats new and modern, this is a good option. It's a spiritual successor of sorts, and follows the same themes more or less, the basic idea of being in a space station/colony and it being overrun with alien mutant zombies and theres a conspiracy of sorts behind it all.

The combat is enjoyable, skill based without being too demanding, its mostly melee with the enemies taking swings at you and you can dodge or block, if you dodge, you can go left or right, and when the enemy chains attacks you have to alternate to continually dodge. once they tire, you slap them around with your beating stick until they either break apart or back off allowing you to take pot shots at them with your gun (once you get it)
Theres a mechanic later on which causes some enemies to "mutate" and get stronger, and to stop it, you have to shoot the some tentacles that grow out of them, this system was a little over used with nearly every enemy does it, but it makes fighting them a little simpler as when you shoot the tentacles, they just die.

The game had some major performance issues on launch but the devs remained in contact and provided a bandaid for the issue after about a day or so, game runs well now and they plan to keep updating to improve it further. The game generally is fairly demanding for its graphics so be aware of the minimum requirements before purchasing.

all in quite fun, not super long (I managed 10 hours with some exploration and not rushing) enjoyable, some laughable moments with the way body physics works, but the story is emotional and the acting is good, and I only experienced getting stuck and having to reload once.

8.5/10, would love to see more

the game has various little bugs, and it isn't quite what it was hyped up to be, but it's a very fun game, interesting story, with many little fun mechanics and genuinely enjoyable gameplay, definitely check it out, so long as you have a higher end computer.

As you can see. I have over 200 hours in the game since just about after it came out, havent played it since they updated and went Free to play. I went to launch the game again today, and it forced me to do a 20 minute tutorial on how to play the game. there was no skip option. as fun as the game is, until they fix this, my review will remain negative.

This game is amazing! I've spent over 600 hours in it, playing it over and over again, enjoying all the different loot you can get and the awesome boss battles! Theres even Hardcore mode for those of you who love a challenge! Deffinitely buy this game, it is more than worth your money!
