Fellas, fret not if you have no significant other to play this game with. Enjoying Haven with one of the boys is an equally fulfilling experience. Even though this game was made with single player in mind, I highly recommend finding someone to play through this game with you. The atmospheric music, the unique art style, the homely, natural dialogue: all of it leads to a comfy, yet mind-blowing play through. I've seen a lot of complaints about the controls when playing this co-op, but it never really bothered me at all. It was nice letting my friend take the wheel for a few minutes while I sat back and enjoyed the soundtrack's synths playing as a backdrop to the gorgeous terrain. It's not a game that pushes you or challenges you in any way. It's an artistic journey meant to be enjoyed with someone close to you, be it romantically or platonically. The only complaint I have of this game is the lack of online co-op. Steam Remote Play did not do this game any favors unfortunately, and the person I was streaming this game to had a few performance issues. With the world being as it is nowadays, it is quite hard to meet up with someone in person and enjoy this game together. I don't know if The Game Bakers plan to input a feature like this soon, but it would definitely increase the enjoyment while playing with someone else online. Everything else about this game is amazing, though, and if you and a friend can work with Steam Remote Play or another game streaming program, this game is a definite must-play.
