I payed 2.50 for this game and would absolutely have paid 10 if I knew about it. It is super addicting for someone who just likes big explosions and really feeling powerful and while yes it is dated (2017) I picked this up in May of 2024 and am shocked at how unique it is. I feel like this is genuinely the only game that does let you just go ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with a wider variety of magic and the destruction is just fantastic. 10/10

I enjoy this game a lot. relatively unique RPG that does a lot that I havent seen in modern RPGs

This games takes bits and pieces of so many more niche games and combines them in a way that feels like perfection. The standard mission loop scratches the same itch that keeps me going back to Deep Rock Galactic while the combat itself is insanely satisfying harkening back to other big bug games like Earth Defense Force. Honestly if you've liked either of those games you will definitely like this one. Furthermore, I don't want the game itself to sound derivative or like an easier version of the previously mentioned games. The team at arrowhead put a ton of effort into defining this game as its own thing entirely. THAT INCLUDES a comprehensive armory and loadout system as well as a ton of progression that will only increase with time as the Galactic high command continues upgrading the helldivers!

This game fills a super unique rogue-like niche that I didn't realize I needed filled until I got it. Risk of Rain 2 is an amazing game but for a roguelike it does take a while to go through one game especially after getting used to the game and looping. This game however captures the fun jump and gun action of risk of rain 2 and condenses it into an even faster paced bullet hell style 3d shooter reminiscent of enter the gungeon. If you like hyper fast paced shooters combined with the feel of RoR 2 this is an instant buy. 10/10 gives exactly what it advertises and more.

Never been a huge souls fan, I have played 1,3, and bloodborne, but I never completed any of them fully and I only got far in 3 because I ran it co-op. Elden ring kept me entertained the entire time, the exploration is phenomenal and even when I am getting my ass kicked over and over, I stayed playing. If dark souls has ever appealed to you but you were hesitant if you would like it, this game is for you. It has plenty of alternate things to do when you get stuck and allows you to really build your own difficulty level.

I have spent an hour in the game so far and I am blow away, the world looks and feels amazing and the controls with the index controllers are the best i have ever felt in a VR Game. Gameplay and story wise it is extremely similar to half life.

I am continuously shocked at how great the world looks and at how big the environments feel compared to normal games since you are really in the rooms at life size however my only complaint is for valve to add a height slider, I am not sure if they are enforcing me to be alyx's height or what but I feel like im 4 and a half feet tall and its kind of disorienting as a taller guy.

I do not normally review games, but its the steam summer sale so what the heck. I really do not like ARPGs, especially turn based ones. I really do not like any turn based games at all, but this game is just so solid and fun as hell to play.

I picked it up to do a DnD type game with some friends. I tried out the single player and before I knew it, I had 30 hours in the campaign. I have had so much fun with the crazy details of this game. I have not experienced any glitches or bugs and the graphics are amazing. Even if you do not normally like games like this, give it a chance. oh and also the group mechanics make fights very intuitive which I was worried about before going in.
