I have been playing War Thunder for quite some time now, and I can confidently say that the game's economy is an absolute disaster. It completely ruins the experience and makes it impossible to progress without spending a fortune or dedicating your entire life to grinding.

First and foremost, the in-game economy is horribly unbalanced. The amount of time and effort required to earn a decent amount of in-game currency is utterly ridiculous. You have to spend hours upon hours just to earn a pittance of Silver Lions or Research Points. It feels like a never-ending cycle of mindless grinding, and it quickly drains any enjoyment you might have had.

To make matters worse, the prices of vehicles and upgrades are incredibly inflated. It's almost as if the developers want to force players into spending real money to progress. Even the basic tanks and planes require an astronomical amount of in-game currency, making them virtually unattainable without resorting to microtransactions.

The premium content in War Thunder is simply overpriced and exploitative. It's disheartening to see how pay-to-win elements have infiltrated every aspect of the game. If you don't shell out real cash for premium vehicles or boosters, you'll be left in the dust, struggling to compete against players who have bought their way to victory.

Moreover, the economy is plagued with frequent changes and adjustments that only serve to further complicate matters. It's nearly impossible to keep up with the ever-shifting rules and requirements, and every update seems to introduce new ways for the developers to squeeze money out of players.

I understand that free-to-play games need to make money, but War Thunder's economy takes it to an extreme level. It's a shame because the game itself has the potential to be great, with its realistic combat and diverse selection of vehicles. However, the overbearing and unfair economy overshadows any positives and turns the entire experience into a frustrating chore.

In conclusion, I cannot recommend War Thunder due to its horrendous economy. Unless you're willing to spend a fortune or sacrifice your sanity to endless grinding, you'll find yourself trapped in a vicious cycle of frustration. Save your time and money and look elsewhere for a more balanced and enjoyable gaming experience.
