When I finished this game, I felt as if I can finally let go of my non-existent childhood

A small action can have large consequences. Arthur found this out the hard way, and so will you if you don't buy this game. An immersive, story rich, open-world cowboy simulator. 10/10

The game truly starts once you make the Overseer's Office.

High performance requirements, but it does make the game look better.

You are in an airplane (Bioshock anyone???) and your son sits next to you. And because the universe hates you, the plane crashes. You awake and some savage tribal man takes your son. What happens next is a mystery (IDK if the main story is finished yet). There are a bunch of items/clues all over the place to help you piece together what happened.

Most of the time you're going to be gathering supplies and going back to your base. But eventually you will need to get out of your safe zone (because the universe hates you) and explore the dangerous forest.

PS: The players are the true cannibals. Don't deny it, the cannibalistic savages are the best source of food because trying to throw spears, use the bow, or meleeing the local wildlife is like trying to hit a fly with a paperball.

+movement and controls are dated but it feels good and it works
+perks to allow for multiple roles (medic, melee, sniper, etc.)
+only a few zombie types but they make up for it through sheer numbers

-graphics are dated
-audio is dated
-server is a bit on the empty side

Needs more people to play.

This game is meant to be fast paced. Death timer is low and you use a mount to get from base to the objective faster.

Hi-Rez managed to make all the roles fun, so don't be afraid to pick a champion from a role that nobody in your team picked.

Disclaimer: I uninstalled the game from steam and reinstalled it straight from Hi-Rez. I have many more hours than what is listed here.
