While the game itself and the communities that support it are amazing, Bohemia Interactive is ruining it. After two weeks of DDoS attacks on the game and company due to Russia/Ukraine modern conflict servers, Bohemia felt that the best way to resolve this was to ban the mods that created these servers, not better their security against these attacks. The Arma platform has always been used to create representations of both historical and modern conflicts such as the war in Middle East, WW2, and more, which has never been an issue. These modern conflict servers are not to promote any propaganda for ether side, but to allow people to play through this active conflict. This is ruining the whole reason Arma has gotten its following by banning the ability to do this.
