Mass production madness at its finest, as you mass produce the parts you need to expand your factory of mass production even further.

Grindy at times, but that's part of the fun, when you finally got through.

The genre of racing games is not my favorite genre, but Distance is one of the games that stand out, mainly due to:
  • its good and responsive controls
  • the diverse racetracks allowed by the abilities of your car[wallriding, ceilingriding, flying, midair-rotation and midair-boosting], and the ingame level editor
  • the immense replayability due to the diverse racetracks; you will always find tracks with something new about how you race

A must have for every programmer, it could use some more 'segments' though.

I definetly recommend this game to anyone, who likes turn-based strategy.
Maps are procedurally generated, the difficulty of a map increases with the time you spend in it, in addition to the overall difficulty increase over time.
I cannot imagine any game with the same premise (turn-based stealth-strategy) being better.

If you expect a dwarf-fortress-style micromanagement and base-building game, you will be disappointed by this one.
Most of the time I spent in this game was waiting while having the game speed up, until there was something to do, like sealing a cave.
If you want to use your time for something else while playing, this game may be for you, but apart from that, I cannot imagine enjoying this game for more than 10 minutes.

I just have 3 words to describe this madness of a game:
fun, addictive, openworld

It even goes as far as taking over one's thoughts and dreams, literally. (at least for me)
