This game is not new-player friendly. If your interest is to delve into dungeons, explore what the devs have put into it, and learn the game mechanics... This game is not for you.
It's escape from tarkov, but player interactions are worse. It doesn't matter how much you tell other players that you're not interested in a fight. Or how long you try to escape them. They'll chase you.
The pvp aspect of this game is easily the worst part of it, and there's no way to opt out. There's no warning. Getting ganked by some gimped out rogue or barbarian with purple rarity weapons is even encouraged, because a multitude of quests reward you for hunting down other players minding their own business, and mercilessly putting them to the blade.
"Frustrating" is the best way I word it.

Third review edit. This one's gonna be negative.
For a full month now, since they botched the patrol spawns, I've been entirely incapable of actually playing the game.
Going from being able to solo dive challenging bots, to being overrun on easy before making it to extraction, the game has changed.
I've been patient. I've waited. I've hoped. They made an announcement that they knew there was an issue. No patch notes, no changes, nothing, other than a silly reddit thread for their new CEO, and a faq that answers questions that are honestly nonsensical.

So I'll no longer be supporting this game, as my patience has worn thin.

Years later, still no native controller support.

Stacked the skeletons in the crypt on top of each other by making Lae'zel throw and push them around.
Had Gale throw down a Cloud of Daggers on the group, after hiding the other 3.
Pressed the button.
Everything but the entombed warrior died instantly. 10/10, would push and shove a corpse pile around for 5 minutes again, for an easy victory!

Lots of fun when playing with friends.
