Simply put, if you like melee focused games such as Dark Souls and the Left 4 Dead game style... Vermintide has the best of both. There is a hero, class and weapons for everyone to enjoy. The entire premise of the game with the core game play loop will give you game for thousands of hours. The Warhammer Fantasy setting and the characters have very well done dialogue that sets a great atmosphere to enjoy.

Combat is very satisfying with feeling the swing animations, feel the hits connecting and how swing direction combine to make a real masterpiece of melee combat. Every weapon has different ways they are utilized and what they accomplish in combat. Learn combos with weapons that make the best use of the way a weapon swings and what kind of damage role they fill. A good mix of light attacks, heavy attacks and push attacks combine to give variance and multiple uses for every weapon to tackle different situations. Combat is thus very dynamic and engaging with a dodge system that lets you carry through some seemingly impossible situations to clutch up and save the day.

The skill ceiling for the game is nearly limitless and with 4 heroes that each have 3 classes and a multitude of weapons to learn, you get endless opportunity to improve and continue mastering the game. If you want to add more difficulty or variance to the game, just use the Twitch Integration feature. Plenty of votes that will add plenty of variance to normal game play. Don't even have to be a streamer to use it, just add the name of any currently active stream and it will work for your lobby. Won't affect their stream if they have they have Twitch Integration on. No one will be able to actually vote on your lobby in this case but the game will still select a random choice for you. Go ahead, try Twitch Integration with your friends and have a blast with the ensuing chaos. This game the by far the best Twitch Integration I have ever seen and don't feel afraid to activate it even if you are playing on lower difficulties. Twitch Integration is fun regardless of what ever game difficulty you play on.
