Anyone that knows me knows I really do not like Sony for really crap practices and for killing a developer studio I really enjoyed as a kid. (Studio Liverpool) The PSN stuff at the start of HD2’s life certainly did not sit well with me either, and I firmly believe the region stuff still needs to be fixed. That is at the fault of Sony, not Arrowhead.
That being said, with all my biases going against it... This game is good, and I mean really good if you like action 3rd person shooter games. I do not think anything else in the industry really compares to this right now and the writing team is absolutely brilliant. My views and biases were anti-democratic, I have since fully enlisted to disperse liberty to every corner of known space. For Super Earth.

Nothing I say here will do this game proper justice. If this seems like your kinda thing just go for it.

Early Access Review
TL;DR: This game is crack.

The devs are really cooking here in my honest opinion. If you were a ps1 kid playing the classic Crash & Spyro games all day or have an itch for the good old Zelda dungeon crawl this will make you feel right at your nostalgic home. Character customization is really great, so many options to change your appearance and gear are here at the get go. The movement and gameplay is crisp, often surprising me with just how much control you have over your character. In typical fashion you currently have the big three caster, rogue, fighter thing going on for you to progress your build, along with a healthy dose of general skills to learn and pick from. The game is also 100% furry bait but I am not complaining at all. I look forward to what is to come.

Out of all the FromSoft games I have played I am more than certain this is my favorite. I find myself coming back repeatedly even after fully completing the game.

The customization potential is staggering and the build potential is insane. If you think something is cool on an NPC or someone you face in an online battle you too can do that with your build. You can always choose to do interesting or difficult play styles and will be rewarded for your understanding of the mechanics or creativity. There is no limit here. It is easy to find yourself testing builds for hours without even realizing it and then if you allow yourself you do it all over again in a few missions.

Spoilers left out I personally really like the story and the themes it draws from, playing through all missions will present a very interesting narrative. At the end of the day you determine the outcome through the missions you choose to do. Doing ones you have not completed prior is always worth it. I think the characters are well fleshed out even if you never see them aside from what their ac or emblem is. You will hate some and love others and in my opinion that is good thing. All of this is carried with a level of the usual cryptic nature which FromSoft games weave into their lore and story.

This masterpiece is such a joy it is almost criminal in today's age of "service" game design.

Thanks for reading,
-Luweth

Awoo. To say this pack is a dream would be an understatement. It is the sole reason I started playing Sims again after falling out of interest over the years, quickly restoring my interest in the series. Many of the themes and references are really on point, some funny and humorous others referencing common werewolf tropes or internet culture. Reading the tooltips and item descriptions show a lot of care and detail was made here, things I at least really appreciate. (Fenry Chompsalot Jr. is precious and must be protected. Fight me.) I love the style and theme of Moonwood Mill, the other sims are quite neat and interesting while matching the setting quite effectively. I genuinely feel like this pack was made for me in a way as it mirrors themes and designs that I deeply enjoy, I have a crazy obsession will old rundown industrial style stuff and the scrappy look of things is really appealing to me so I am very biased here. Also the music is super duper good and fitting.

This is probably one of the most enjoyable early access experiences I have ever encountered on steam and it is very refreshing. The amount of value here is overwhelmingly massive and I can only describe the game as visual concentrated black tar super crack that is just as addictive as it sounds.

Absolute god tier game. Worth the crippling addiction.
