I've been playing the long dark since it was early access on the xbox and I loved it then, just in sandbox. I decided to get it on steam after years of waiting for story mode and it was well worth the wait. The work that this team has put into this game shows and this is easily one of my favorite survival games. It is a bit intense so if you've never played I suggest starting in easy, it still offers quite the challenge with getting materials and surviving the environment.

I really enjoy puzzle games and I'm usually good at them. This is not one of those. The items, the other prisoners, the guards. The items they each carry, the keys, the tools! There is so much going on in this game and it's difficult but in a fun way, not the super meat boy way.

This is a really fun game, especially with your friends. I like that you can build and create a lot of the consumables, mostly ammo. The zombies aren't too difficult but when there's multiple zombies after you when you're by yourself in the dark the game becomes a fun and terrifying experience.

This game is super fun and extremely mellow. If you're having a bad day and need a mood boost this is the game to go to whether by yourself or with a group of friends. The customization is diverse and there's something for everyone, there's so many different skins and outfits you can choose from! If you stream on twitch your chat can interact with you by sending hearts with "love" and confetti with "hype". I absolutely will be playing this as much or more than I did stardew valley.
