Great latency
Extremely tight and snappy gunplay
Low TTK
Smooth, responsive movement
MORE CONTENT IN EARLY ACCESS THAN MOST BATTLEFIELDS GET ON LAUNCH
fun community full of goofballs
Long progression incentives

TLDR This is the battlefield we should have had all along.

Pro:
Cost- I got this game on sale via ZiggyD's store, however it is ABSOLUTELY worth full price here on steam
Itemization- The itemization is immediately satisfying and understandable. Additionally all the positive trappings of good ARPG itemization are present here from core stats, to proc attacks to movement modifiers and set bonuses.

Graphics- Simple, 2D sprite work is smooth, impactful, and responsive. Despite its simple demeanor, there are ample visual ques, and enemies to make everything feel like it has proper variety.

Performance- The game runs smooth as butter even when you are obliterating dozens of enemies on screen all at once

Depth- Right from the get go you are shown that this game is not shallow. There are so many skills and item interactions that even the same class can have dozens of different builds. In fact I have yet to see anyone do the same build I have!

Flexibility- Without looking up any guides, its very easy to just intuitively build what you want and it will work!

Progression- Every time you play, you are rewarded with something. Some upgrade. The game has a LONG road of progression, but still rewards you for the short playthrough. I really appreciate that as someone who typically works 10-14 hours a day.

MIXED:
Lack of Multiplayer- This is hit or miss. I for one am content to not have to deal with a market or trading. But multiplayer would be fun if they balanced the game for it (would need more monsters and higher difficulty i think. also visual clutter might need to be addressed.

CONS:
Visual progression- The biggest drawback to the game is that gear does not impact your appearance at all. This is forgivable in a sense because we know this game is made by one person. However a stop-gap solution to this could be to have visual "tiers" ala Diablo 1. Diablo 1 did not have unique visuals for every piece of gear. However gear would have level threshholds in which it would have a different look. There were 3 if i remember right. Early gear all looked the same, then mid level items would have a sturdier look, and finally end game items had you looking like a decked out badass. This game could do something similar.

OVERALL:

This has been one of the most enjoyable games i have played in ages. I am an avid ARPG fan and this has stolen me away from Path of Exile for the time being. I honestly feel this is the superior game to Diablo 3 and right up there if not even a little better than Grim Dawn. I encourage everyone pick this game up despite its lack of multiplayer
