I grew up playing Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow which is one of my most favourite games of all time and I still play it now and then today. This game is the spiritual successor of Dawn of Sorrow It is so similar in so many ways, like instead of gaining monster souls you gain their shards which also give you their abilities, the exploration and puzzles gave me massive nostalgia but the game has a modern touch with weapon techniques adding to the combat of the game and I love the 2D/3D style. You can see that the developers put so much passion into this game like including references from JOJO and even Shovel Knight. They even put their kickstarter backers into the game to kill you. Cannot wait to play more of this game. I know I'm going to keep coming back to this game in the years to come.

I cut off their tail, I shove their cranium into a wall, then capture them for all to see... Because I need that upgrade and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I'm looking good now... Am I the monster?!

This game will keep f**king you till you either love it or hate it.

Kill stuff, mine stuff and do it again drinking mead, then walk up to a goblin in full iron armor and instantly die when he hits your shin with a wooden club... Goblin slayer deserves more credit.
