I've gotten 60 hours out of it and mechs aren't even in yet. Or the 3rd faction. And I've "enjoyed" it! (If you enjoy being by gang banged by Hunters, stepped on by Bile Titans, chased by Robots with chainsaw hands, sniped by Rocket robots, turned a corner and ran into a tank..)

Games pretty simple, lest till you try to create a strategy and the rng ruins all your plans.

Do ya like Vampire Survivor-likes? Well, you're in luck with this one! Do you like Surviving? Do you like getting upgrades? Do you like walking your mans around endlessly? Do you like affordable gaming? Oh baby then this is for you!

Just 1 single problem.. still no actual Vampires. Is it still worth it? Yes. Is the DLC worth it? It's cheap and adds a little more to the game. So if you like the base game and want more, it's worth it!

It's just THAT good. And if you do want to know that lore.... I beg you not. Stay away! Just... stay away! Down the path of fake anime girls leads to obsession. Lost hours watching streams. Youtube algorithms feeding you endless clips.. madness. MADNESS!!

1st I clicked with the mouse. Then I clicked with the space bar. Then I got all the cheevs. Bit disappointed there isn't a point shop.

Ok, some time has passed. Should you buy it? On sale, yes! They've made a lot progress. Added new weapons. New "endgame" stuff. Not super thrilled with the cycling map selection, wish they'd let us have more control over what missions to do.





Old problem: Press Play, launcher doesn't load. Close Steam. Relaunch Steam. Press Play. Launcher loads. Play game. Enjoy it for a bit. Play with toxic dude, get tired of game and people. Close game. Game only partially closes. Wake up the next day to see the game is still active and you've added 12 hours to your play time total. Close Steam to get it to finally exit the game.

Is it Grimdank? Yes.
Is the Bolter wonderful? Yes.
Is it a janky experience? Yes, often.
Do nearly all the Zealot clothes suck? Yes.
Is "Brother!" shouted enough for a 40k game? Sadly, no.
Will it be amazing in 5 more years? Perhaps.
Does the Lasgun sound cool? Yes.
Get it at full price? Sadly I'd say no. Maybe in time, but by the time they finally make it wholly a smooth and enjoyable experience it'll likely be on sale often. I wish there was an option between Yes or No for recommendation. I've had some fun, some tense moments. The gameplay isn't terrible, it looks good and sounds good, but the technical issues can really put you off.
