H3VR REVIEW
Overall Rating: 8 / 10

Positives:

Incredible detail including internal components while still being performance-friendly.

Nothing you hold has simulated object weight.

Includes a modest variety of optics, lights, lasers, suppressors, and a pool of other, more specific equipment.

You have all forms of movement used by any other VR titles, you won't need to get used to yet another control scheme.

Take and Hold difficulty can be adjusted from a complete snoozefest, all the way up to TouHou at 3X speed.

The developer consistently listens to player feedback.

An ever-expanding mod community with a few incredibly talented developers, none of which seem to be randomly disappearing any time soon, unlike a certain visual novel...

New content is frequent, however at the time of this review it's mostly mapping utilities and lots of background code improvements / optimizations that most people probably won't be utilizing.

Negatives:

Odd lag in a few specific situations, some of which is recent and will probably be fixed, along with other issues that have been prevalent through most of the game's life and are far too deep-rooted to be changed.

The developer, Anton, supports;if not, acknowledges; lgbt groups, which publicly defend and encourage pedophiles, zoophiles, and several other deplorable things like that which I'm fairly certain I can't say in a steam review, however I doubt he's aware of those details and was simply just trying to get more people to buy the game.

Mod related issues:

Almost all mod assets are directly stored in RAM which can overload most systems, but it seems to only cause crashes strictly with an excessive mod count and isn't relevant 95% of the time, and the base game doesn't have this problem at all.

Many custom maps are either #1: rushed ports with broken lighting, awful texture quality, and aren't scaled correctly for VR, or #2: Quality or scale is far too extreme for the game to handle which leads to framerates low enough to reduce the timescale. In my own experience, less than 60 FPS is the breaking point for any VR title, not just this one.

Most mods also don't have reasonable quality standards or are just simple texture changes with blatant seams in many places. Some are also NSFW which is... strange to say the least.

Under no circumstances should you install any of the massive weapon bundles (Guns_of_the_Cold_War for example) as they are extraordinarily good at causing excessive RAM usage, general framerate stuttering, and crashes while loading as well as being very tedious to uninstall because of the way thunderstore handles modpacks.

Some add more lgbt related flags, and I already explained the serious problems with those groups, none so far explicitly mention or show the banners of the extremely bad areas of that group, however it is still concerning.
