I don't accept random friend requests because people way too often never speak or interact with me after being accepted, and just cluttering my friends list, or abusing it to view content that is not publicly visible.

I sometimes do cleanups, so if I removed you from friends, it's nothing personal. It is likely for the same reason as above; no longer in contact and it's no longer relevant to keep you added (2+ years!) or no longer playing relevant games for an extended time.
